  • thank you for the uploads!!!

  • He didn't say he likes firing people. He said he likes being *able* to fire people. All the difference in the world. One is sociopathic, the other provides you with leverage and choice.

  • @SelfImmolator As someone pointed out today, though, he was talking about "firing" insurance companies. Which only healthy people can generally afford to do. Most don't feel the need to fire their insurance until they get sick, and then have no choice in the matter - they're rarely able to do so. With pre-existing conditions, it's almost impossible to change insurance companies, so you're screwed. So yeah, Romney is seriously out of touch. (And twisted.)

  • @MiniRtist Indeed, and I hate the US health system too. You need an NHS.

But although it's funny to deliberately take Romney's quote out-of-context (funny because it's probably true that he did enjoy firing people at Bain)... it's not accurate or good journalism and Schuster shouldn't have opened the headline the way he did. "Told a NH audience He feels good about letting people go"

  • Ken's an a'ight guest, just needs more personality.
