hi... is the compressor very importnant in that twang injection? apart from the guitar, what do you think is more important? The speakers or the compressor?

eh, its kinda not the smartest question... both matter, but with bad speaker the best effects wont sound good

that's not what I meant. let's say I already have a good speaker, cause I own a Fender amp. But he's using a very specific celestion blue. Is the celestion blue more important to twangy tones than having a compressor (fact: almost every country player uses compressors) That's kinda the aim of my question.

I think compressors are important in "tawng" because it allows each note to really "pop".
