What a great video! Now I know what I will at least try when or if we in the UK get enough snow! Looks good really does. If however you were to leave just a small area of the wall around the doorway bare and tipped a load of snow on the roof and made it into what looks like an ordinary heap of snow, and maybe hut a door-shape from more snow and rest the door on a small blanket, with a rope or string attached, you could then bury the whole thing and surprise friends when you pull the rope?

Wouldn't ventilation be necessary? And, did you ever think to research the native techniques of an eskimo? They didn't need a garden hose or a ladder. And, they certainly didn't need to build an obnoxiously, huge mini-mansion igloo. But, the finished product looks cool enough to overlook these petty concerns. Too much work for your average people with jobs.
