  • Gee, I'm 17, and I get those partial seizures. I hope I outgrow them like your boy.

  • I wish you all the best for your beautiful boy. My sister had the same condition but grew out of it. I hope your sweet son does the same.

  • @BLADERUNNERDECKER201 He is now just over a year seizure free. We are now dealing with the ADHD diagnosis. The scar tissue was removed from the part of the brain that has his behavior and emotional control which in turn tends to make his ADHD that much worse.

  • Did he ever tell you what/how he felt during his seizures? Like..did he ever explain it to you.

  • @XxMorbidXButterflyxX He just said he didn't feel good and when I asked what didnt feel good he just circled his face with his finger.

  • @anoske3317 I can understand that he doesn't feel good and it feels weird. I had visions and this weird feeling when I had my seizures and then I would black out.

  • He is now 319 days seizure free.

  • Oh, I feel so bad. I hope he grows out of these as fast as he can!

  • I live in odessa

  • I have complex partial siezures and I live in west texas, mine are really scary to me becouse i dont have any memory for hours does your son have any memory of his and what meds is he on mine have started to esculate more. God bless yall

  • @huntermetal19723 Other than not remembering the seizure I don't think it affected his memory. Most of the time he would sleep afterwards so when he woke up he just knew that he took a nap. Sometimes he would bounce right back and go back to what he was doing. He is still on Trileptal and Zonegran. The one thing I can't stress enough is that if you don't feel right about the answers/treatment you are getting find another Neuro.

  • @huntermetal19723 hey huntermetal, I also live in west texas and suffer from seizures of several types. They actually don't know what cause mine though and they don't respond well to meds. If you don't mind my asking, where in west texas are you from?

  • @DRnikkiHOUSE

He is doing fantastic, 236 days seizure free. Still breaks my heart every time I watch these

  • I thought a seizure was when your body convulsed? Is this a type of seizure that effects your brain rather than your body?

  • @PandyKitty15

There are several kinds of seizures all of which start in the brain and present themselves differently. They can range in severity from only lasting a second or two to the whole body convulsing

  • This could be my son.....his seziures present almost exactly the same. We are about to embark on our tenth med combo. He has had 2 resections and may have to a even a third. He is 6.

  • @TheJothebrit

I am so sorry. We were at 8 med combos. Brandon had a temporal lobectomy in January and has been seizure free since. He is still on the same meds and amounts that he was at the time of surgery, they will consider adjusting after a year.

  • Aww poor kid

  • I think my seizures are similar though I've never seen my self during one I'm still kind of able to interact. Has your son ever mentioned the effect of sound during his seizures? cos i think any sound but particularly loud sounds makes it worse

  • @ahdeath2007

Sorry for taking so long to respond. While he was having his seizures he always just said that he didn't feel good and when asked what didn't feel good he would circle his face.

  • My son is 16 months old and he is having seizures that look exactly like the one your son had in this video
