  • do you have a video with glow in the dark nail polish?

  • Hun, if you are using white in your water marble, use a white base coat, not pink. & don't drop in the colors to early or you can risk them bleeding into each other, that's why your white turned out grey. also, when your finger is in the water, blow on the water to make it dry faster & it will make the process easier to take off.

  • @13raiderr I used pink intentionally - with a white base the pink was too light. as for the white & black bleeding together, some may have to do with how fast they were dripped but mostly it's just the brand as I've used other black & white combinations with no problem =)

  • Beautiful! I finally gotten a descent marble design after trying a million times today!!! I have a lot of CG polish. Do they all give a good spread?

  • @Tamed100810 unfortunately no, each can be different =)

  • Thank u! Love the colours

  • those arent short nails they were probably talking about nails if you bite them so can it be done with really really short nails?

  • @kluvsmusicvids for me these are short - but marbling can be done on any length nail, the smaller the nail just the less of the design you will get =)

  • how do you stop it from getting little bubbles?

  • @chowmysister1 My 3 main tips to prevent bubbles would be: make sure there are none in the polish before you dip you nail (you can pop those), dip in & out slowly, and make sure to get rid of any water drops on your nail - if they won't drip or shake off, you can use the corner of a paper towel to absorb them. HTH =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues thank you :)

  • you are the best..i love you

  • I love this one!

  • Love the colorsssss!! =) so beautiful!!!

  • PRETTY!!!!

  • is it cold or warm water?

  • @TheExtraaaa room temperature filtered water =)

  • does it matter what type of tape?

  • @tweetybird1201 not really =)

  • When is your birthday? Mine is 25thJuly O.o

  • @Domolshyz July 14th =)

  • ohhh i like it...

  • how old did you turn

  • @FeirceNails I'm 30 =)

  • All people who habe this question in mind . Any water tempature will do expecially coldish water for me most likely warm

  • @iRandom76 you can see from my water comparison vid that cold really doesn't work as well =)

  • when i try to do that, it looks like a big mess :p

  • what would happen if i used WARM water???

  • @whoawhoagirl I haven't tried with warm - I think it would be difficult to maintain the temp for the entire manicure =)

  • @whoawhoagirl if you use warm water it dries even faster than cold water. Also being under a fan will make it dry faster, warm water, cold water, or room temp.

  • Nice. I love them!!!!

  • i love all your marble videos! it's look so crazy i love them

  • okay, so when i tried doing the marble art on my nails, it didnt work. FIRST- my nail polish wouldnt spread. it would spread the first 2 times and then the third it would just stay in a circle. THEN- when i took my tooth pick to make a design, it just completely tore apart, like it dried or something. the middle colors disappeared into the water while the outside crinkled. im not sure what i did.. im new to this. it was a complete fail..(:

  • @malmaldeal123 It sounds like the polish is starting to dry, which can effect additional colors spreading as well as making the design tear – you either have to work faster or find colors that dry slower =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues thank youuuu so much! (:

  • @malmaldeal123 yh this hapened too it went like skin almost :/ have u figured it out yet????

  • @malmaldeal123 Don't worry. You'll get it. Trust me. When I first tried water marbling, I got frustrated because nothing I did seemed to work. When I got the temperature right (room temp) AND found some really thin nail polishes to use it worked like magic. Just a tip. The thinner the nail polish, the easier it will spread. Get the 99 cent kind they have at your local beauty supply. That way you can stock up on a lot of colors at once. Oh yeah, make sure there's no fan blowing :)

  • congrats on the partnership! You deserve it! I love all of your videos! <3 <3

  • well. i tried doing marble art nails but it didn't really work. what do u think i did wrong?

  • @cutepenguin31 what problem are you having?

  • im gonna try this again really soon because i tried and failed last time.

  • I think your truly just amazing... I mean many people do marble art work which is good! But what im saying is that i really love this design! Well done SimplyLittlePleasues.

Keep up the good work! Im going to try this tomorrow, and i will see how it goes fingers crossed. So will this work with any type of nail varnish right? and also how many times do you have to keep dipping it in the water...?

    Once again well done!

    Thank you so much! :-)

  • @irranjot you can use any brand, but not every color works =) how many rings depends on the colors your using & the design you're doing

  • Ur work is amazing

  • ok so i was trying this today and it didnt work........ do i need to apply a base coat or any color base coat for the colors come out darker on my nail??...cause when i was trying it the color didnt really show up

  • @gymluvvie2 yes, I always recommend a base coat & base color to help the marble colors be more opaque & vibrant =)

  • I have a question can u use konad nail polishes for this???????????

  • @gymluvvie2 I've never tried them - I don't have any of their normal polish =) but you can use pretty much any brand, although not every color works

  • those nails are short?.. :P

  • @AmazingWebster well, for me LOL

  • thank you I tried this for the first time. It took a few trails and errors but I did it. You're directions are concise and easy to follow. I was wondering do you think letters are possible to do with the marble art?

  • @Blessed4infinity simple letter probably yes like an "o", but more complicated letters tend to get a little lost in the design =)

  • Can you use any color for the cot before dipping my finger in the water with desgin

  • @Harsha77100 yes, athough each different color will change the final look a little bit =)

  • this is reaaly nice but u waste alot of polish in this

  • @sOfiJUSTME it does use more than a normal manicure, but it's worth it =) & I have plenty to spare LOL - but if you are concerned, depending on the design you are going for you can dip 2 or 3 fingers at a time to save polish, also some designs use fewer drops

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues I know I'm not saying is bad is actually really really cute and I love to do it on my nails it was just an opinion :))

  • ONE WORD AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • question. I don't know if it's bad nail polish, but when i dip my finger in, it mushes all together and looks icky when i pull it out. should i spread it more with my toothpick?

  • @Howlandgirls I'd say spread more with the toothpick or use fewer drops =)

  • Thx I used a bobby pin and it worked pretty good

  • Hi, I was just wondering if I could use something other than a orange stick... Any idea what else i could use?

  • @peacelover315 anything with a fine point will work, like a toothpick or a needle =)

  • this is super thank you for this tutorial

  • @Multipurplenails Wow. Don't shoot the messenger.

  • I've tried this method twice already and absolutely love it. One question though, i find i get a bunch of water bubbles.. is there a way of making sure that doesn't happen or a way of getting rid of them?

  • @anajovvojana My 3 main tips to prevent bubbles would be: make sure there are none in the polish before you dip you nail (you can pop those), dip in & out slowly, and make sure to get rid of any water drops on your nail - if they won't drip or shake off, you can use the corner of a paper towel to absorb them. HTH =)

  • so cool i so am going 2 do that

  • I really like your ideas i tried it my self and it came out really well xx

  • Yor the best out of all the nail polish people way better then cutepolish I love u

  • R the Sally Hansen nail polish u use have the Xtreme sign??

  • @Bianca16797 yes =)

  • I LOVE UR NAIL'S! !!!!!!!

  • Hi,,

How did you taped youre fingers?

    :o

  • @taartjuh4 you can check out the taping tutorial under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see how I apply it =)

  • I love this!

  • you are my no.1 fan

beacuse your water marble is so nice

  • OMG!!!!!!! YOU are AMAZING!!! the first time i seen your videos i went right to the store and i am in love with it!

  • mine keeps creating a weird film so that when i go to swirl it, it just clumps! what do i do?!

  • @MeganMindlessxox It sounds like the polish is starting to dry – you either have to work faster or find colors that dry slower =)

  • what the hell is an orange stick?

  • @kelsey31693 an orange stick is a wooden manicure tool, basically a long pointy stick like a big toothpick – you can use anything with a fine point

  • why can't you like when you finished doing it why can't u remove the scotch tape so we can see unstead of doing what you always do?

  • @thevstelevsion there's a separate video for everything to do with taping under the Tips & Tricks playlist, so that I don't need to show it each time =)

  • @hurrican3533 no, I use the same water for the whole manicure - I've never tried distilled but it should be OK =)

  • That's what you call short nails?

  • @elizabethnmeilson LOL yes, for me =)

  • I like the colors you use

  • Do you know where to buy "lust"? I looked at Osco, Walgreens, and CVS when I was still in Chicago. I couldn't find any of the wet n wild craze line there. My friend is flying over here to visit, so I was going to ask her to find the polish for me but I'm not sure where to tell her to get it?

  • @Number1ChoChangFan I think I originally got it at Walgreens, but it may not be available any more because it was a while ago

  • I tried it and It didn't work do u have to use a plastic bowl????? Plz answer me I really would like to do this.......thank you :)

  • @sirenax14 I use a 5oz paper cup - Are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =) \

  • MINE WONT WORK D:

  • u can u chap stick put it on ur finger and dip ur finger into the water marble and if ur finger has nail polish just wipe it off and it come right off.

  • @bianca11718 It's on my to-do list to do a comparison between taping & lotion or vaseline/chapstick etc, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Aside from the fact that it seems like it would be very messy, several viewers have told me that they can leave a residue in the water that makes it harder to do the next designs, which is why I've stuck with tape so far =)

  • it looks a lot more simple than i thought i will try and experement with it xx <3 thanksxx

  • love this design. what is your advice on doing the toes like this??? Same way as the fingers??? dip them in a cup. I am not doing all of my toes just the big toes, the rest solid color. Thanks

  • @bigyumt I haven't tried it on toes myself, but a few have posted on my Facebook page - get someone to help you, to kind of guide your foot & attempt to dip your toe in a good spot =)

  • @haileynchan01 even professional brands there are a lot of colors that don't work, you just have to experiment to find the ones that spread well & dry slowly =) I have some pics of my stash on my blog but I don't know when I'll do a vid

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues Okay then... thank you for the tips yea' gave me. btw i really love your nails i wish i have beatiful, long nails such as yours. ;)

  • Okay then... thankyou for the tips yea' gave me. btw i really love your nails i wish i have beatiful, long nails such as yours. ;)

  • I love all your nail tutorials :)

  • how long do you have to wait before the water marbles dry, because when I do my nails y get like bored so they get ruiined... :(

I finally diid these and on the third try I got!!!!

  • @OhTheLuve It’s mostly dry within a few minutes, then I use a quick-drying top coat =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues lmao! thanks for responding i LOve your nails and so do my friends :)

  • I am trying to do your marble art image and i don't know what I am doing wrong. My nail polish is not spreading out like yours is. Is there a specific time that I need to be putting the polish in the water or specific nail polish? I am using Dasani water at room temp. Is that ok also?

  • @MrSanman100 make sure there are no additives in the water - other than that you do need to work very fast, for the polish it's all trial & error to find the colors that work best =)

  • net zo mooi gedaan.

  • mine look really bad compared to yours

  • i LOVE this. <3

  • lol sorry ment to say gunmetal i wasnt paying attention

  • oh sorry and how many drops should i use and will it work on short nails????????????????

  • @ninjagirl363 there's no set amount, the drops depend on the polish & the design so you just have to try & see =) if you have short nails you just get less of the design

  • I have the first day of school coming up and our school colors are black and yellow i have both sally henson colors one is mellow yellow and the other is fun metal will these work and if so what should i use for a base

  • @ninjagirl363 the only way to know for any color is to try it - for base colors, I experiment before I start =)

  • just curious, why do you call it an orange stick?

  • @Chanel1990AZ it's not my name for it, that's just what they're called =)

  • i know wet n wild is pretty good when water marbling... do u recomend it for just regular nail painting? some of my frends like wet n wild some dont

  • @sillypup12 I'll use any brand, what's really imporant are good base & top coats =)

  • I've never seen this before and let me just say.... WOW! That was fantastic! :D

  • can you buy these nailpolishes in sweden ? :D

  • @thecowgirlandherhors sorry but I have no idea =)

  • What black did you use? My blacks turn gray. LOVE UR VIDS!!!

  • @ItsJacquilikeJackie the colors are all listed in the information box =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues

    Ooh okay, thanks! XD

  • @chaosQueenTitania The brand doesn't really matter, but only way to know for any color is to try it =)

  • There was one nail polish that didn't work in water for me. It just turned into a ball and fell to the bottom of my cup, and then it melted through the bottom. OAO

  • @Starz3215 Some polish sinks because it’s too dense, other times it is from dripping it from too high up, try to stay close to the surface of the water =) also stay away from styrofoam as polish dissolves it, the cups I use are paper

  • Do you know any good nail polish that is great for this that I can buy at Walmart?

  • @Jewelry821 You can use any brand, although not every color works =)

  • i really like ur design but ur nail are still very long and me & a frnd were wondering if it would work on very short nails tht r not longer than our finger tip ends... we really would like to do this do u think it would still work??????

  • @bffgurls1 if you have short nails you just get less of the design =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues Okay thx 4 letting us know.... :^D

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues Okay thx!

P.s. do u have to use a lot of nail polish & a deep bowl or not deep bowl?**** it never works for me! xD

  • @bffgurls1 the amount of drops depends on the polish you're using - I don't think the depth of the container matters, as long as you can fully dip your nail =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues OK thank you! what nail polishes would u recommend? i try not to buy expensive brands but if i really need to I'll buy a few, but i have like 20-25 nail polishes but all don't really work i wanna pull this off!

  • @bffgurls1 There really isn't a best brand, every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well – the colors I use are always listed in the information box. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • I attempted to do this look the other day cause I really like it...it was also my 1st time ever trying the water marbling...and...yeah it didn't turn out at all...it was all clumpy, I tried it 3 different time's finally I just gave up. I don't know what I'm doing wrong....You make water marbling look so easy :)

  • @bettyyoung78 Are you using filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • I like the length of your nails here (:

  • that is effin amazing

  • What Nail Polish Works The Best Sally Hanson Or Nicole O.P.I

  • @BubbleHubble56 There really isn't a best brand, every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well – the colors I use are always listed in the information box. • Btw beautiful luv it

  • Can you help me I can of mess up the speeding do you drip the polish or do you dip it in the water I'm not sure what to do

  • @nata2329 I just let it drip =)

  • SO PRETTY!

  • Where did you get the lust? That's a really pretty color...

  • @Number1ChoChangFan I think Walgreens or maybe cvs =)

  • I just used Poland Spring water...It worked amazingly well(:

  • it looks beutiful

  • i cant seem to get the color to spread out in a ring-like way.

  • @ILovelife89323 Are you using filtered water? Also keep in mind that not all polish works - the brand doesn't really matter but every color is different in the water & it just takes a lot of trial & error to find the ones that work well. You want one with good pigmentation, maybe a little on the thick side but thin enough to drip & above all slow-drying. HTH =)

  • tanks :) <3

  • where did you get the stick thing

  • @ilovjb09 They’re available most places that sell polish, usually stocked near the files & clippers =)

  • @ilovjb09 Honestly , I don't have one I just used a toothpick if you have one of those.

  • How long do you wait until you take the tape off? :D

  • @LoveMynte I usually wait until it's dry, but you can do it while wet if you're very careful =)

  • @SimpleLittlePleasues Thanks ;)

  • how do you get the extra nail polish off your nail at the end?

  • @funniifriends the tape takes care of most of it - for the rest I use a brush dipped in acetone – you can check out the clean up tutorial under the Tips & Tricks playlist in the information box to see how =)

  • why do i still have a clear film of polish on the top

    ?

  • @sarahlolll1 sometimes not everything comes up when you clear the extra - you can take a single drop, spread it over the top & let it dry, when you pull it off any tiny bits should go with it =)

  • I just tried this with white, pink, and green, and had an epic fail. >.<

  • hahaha okay...SHORT nails???? we mean like short as in you cannot see them over the tips of your fingers....like men, that short.

  • @pottersuperfan1 LOL I don't think my nails will ever be that short =)

  • i love your tutorials! i did some practice with the technique and i noticed that only my glitter polishes works well, the matte one doesn't :-( they don't spread good on the water

  • I kno this might seem like a dumb question but where can I get quality cheap nailpolish? I plan on buying a ton of colors respond soon :]

  • @xoxKirahB00 you can really get cheap polish anywhere, from the drugstore to even beauty supply stores if you hit the clearance =) most brands are much cheaper online also

  • this is deff my fave! your so good at the water marble... i still need practice =3
