  • In order, Osc 1, Osc 2, PWM, Filter, Resonance. The fact he put PWM into an aduino based synth I think is pretty damned cool. Any chance of this thing doing sample and hold?

  • wtf

  • Commodore 64 style! Am I right to assume it does all audio processing at 8 bits resolution?

  • I built this but the sound Only comes out of analog pin 4, please help me! D:

  • @TurKdiRty Its a granular synthesis engine, where the granules are DDS synthesised. The granular part gives the filter sweep sound. Check the 'Downloads' page at that link for code. Schematic and documentation are also there.

  • OMG MY LOVELY EARS...just kidding...nice project

i thought the arduino is just capeable to play one tone at a time?

  • @punisher17011990 not really, go to my website, tbspace(dot)de and click on the right side on Arduino WAV-Player.

And then go to "Zum Video"....

  • Haha pentatonic scale about half way through :)

  • @scottjop656 Pentatonic scale FTW

  • WOW! Thats amazing! I have played around with the tone() function on the arduino. It doesn't sound anywhere near as cool as the sounds you were making.

I just looked at your code. Unfortunately it's beyond my level of skill. So for now I will stick with the tone function.

    Your project rocks.

  • Pretty cool! I'm pretty sure I will reserve a little board space for on of these the next time I etch some PCBs :P

  • where did you find such a perfect encasing for your project, ive been looking around for something of the sort...beautiful device by the way! Well..... Well DONE!

  • @tonyboy4410 Thank you for your intelligent, witty and well written critique.

  • @cathedrow for some reason, I think Sir tonyboy means it in a good way as a sign of astonishment....

  • so annoying... I WANNA MAKE ONE!!! lol

  • Around :34 it sounds like wish you were here by pink floyd. :)

  • Nice casing

  • hey guys, i found that very cool case , for only 14 euro at Conrad(german electronic shippingcompany)

    its very cool in real

  • if someone would be interested in making one of these for me to purchase, please let me know...

  • well ,go to radioshack and buy all parts, and then build it... if you need help for this pm me

  • Wow! Very good sound for digital

  • I'm almost completed with mine. Almost exactly the same construction but i modded a channel "filter" as a bode frequency shifter for increased variation :D

I'm so happy, fun little machines these are!

    Cheers mate

  • cool as hell, the case is damn cool too i want to make something like this

  • nice

  • nice box

  • awesome, i love the pentatonic scale. so inspired now.
