I remember playing the mission at 3:06. I distinctly remember when I entered the pipe on one occasion bowser appeared. When I finished the mission I went to the toadstool house and the guy inside said the chests had been stolen. I then had to chase Bowser across the map.

I was 9 at the time but definitely remember this happening. Has anyone else had this happen?

@sammychebruch Each of the 26 parts was done separately. So, if I was not satisfied with my performance for a video, I would start it again until it's good enough to my eyes. But anyway, I was more about not getting hit too much than having problems with dying. This game is not that difficult to me. ;)

@queenahmose Always using the same technique. Run or don't run at the end of a stage, never stop and hit the Star Card at approx. 45 degrees. It's not that hard to master. ;)

The anchor prevents the airship from flying away if you die on that level. The music box puts the hammer bros that roam the overworld map to sleep so you can move past them.

@bratyboo101 It's more difficult to follow it if some of the stages are to be cleared. Remember that when you are game over, all normal stages are still to do. It can be a pain for those who struggle with the game. ;)

Yeah that shish should have been huge! :D But the people at nintendo knew about the issue of the blinking sprites when too many where at the same height. I guess they didnt want that, and thats why throgout all the game the enemies are in diferent heights, unless they were tiny. Nintendo people didnt want blinking sprites, specially when Sega was hitting them hard with their "Genesis does what Nintendon't". Amazing job in Super mario Bros 3.

Yeah, the only time it's really useful is in world 5, because you don't have to worry about the airship possibly moving to the forest part and you having to go through the level that connects the forest with the sky. Otherwise, the anchor is just there to prevent you from becoming annoyed with running all around for the airship.

I played different versions of the game, and never did I get a power-up at this place, believe me. Both blocks can move, don't forget it. It's a trap. No power-up there. :)

I did it in 26 separate parts/vids. So, if I was not satisfied with my performance, I started to record my video back, trying to get something up to my exigences. Sometimes, I saved viewers from some boring seeing time losses, and sometimes, I lost some very good scenes, but that's the way it has to work for me. ;)

5-1: Use a power wing here (you'll get one for beating world 4). Then fly straight up from the

start and then a little bit right. You'll find a pipe in the sky. Go in and then go right, into another

pipe. You'll be in the center of the giant arch where there are four 1-UPS. Get them one at a time,

as one disappears if you there are two on the screen. After this fly straight up to the top of the

arch, and break away the blocks. One's a switch block that makes a bunch of coins appear.

hitting the switch block you can make some coins appear below, and inside the giant ? block is a

tanooki suit, which lets you become a statue by holding down and pressing B, as well as all the

powers of raccoon Mario. It really isn't that great.

to beat the current, and in the pool at the top swim left and down the far left pipe. This room has
