To get the Weathered 10mm you need to have the "Classic Pack" downloaded to you console/PC. Whatever you do don't mod the weathered 10mm though. For some reason it glitches the game

To get the necessary points just answer 2 of the Doc's questions with a gun-related answer, or when he asks you to go over the results, simply tag the repair skill. OR if you feel like using your skill points elsewhere, go to the prospector saloon, and steal the "fixin' thing's" magazine located to the left of the pool table.

@daxterminator599 Personally, I would recommend Fallout New Vegas. The story in New Vegas is not as depressing and sad as Fallout 3. And the fact that you can explore a better environment that's not as destroyed as Fallout 3- and with Las Vegas pretty much intact makes it all the better. But the gameplay and everything else is just as good for both games. If you prefer a much darker and emotional experience, go with Fallout 3. But I would say, buy Fallout New Vegas!

@vikngwill thats because at the end of the game "SPOIL ALERT" you can beat the final boss by maxing out speech and you could use speech for a lot of the game and charisma gives points to barter and speech

For example, in F3 I concentrated on my survival skills 1st & before I was 2/3's done they were maxed out or very close to it, I then did more on speech/barter/charisma...since I don't mind playing slow & thorough & exploring everything, read find salvage etc., caps were no problem. I'd have to replay this way to see if I missed things, but have you done it both ways ? Thanks !

@SpectersKrade I don't think anyone rushes to customize a character, I just don't think most people spend a large amount of time doing so. Most people do play in first person so they don't go into great detail with the character. I personally like customizing characters on Fallout but no a lot of people do.
