Ok kiddies, heres the deal, The first amendment states that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances." The police have no right to stop them unless they pose a threat to themselves or others. I saw nothing that would warrent such an action by the police.

From what little video I can see, these kid's need a lesson in protesting, You get your numbers and "peacefully" assemble. state why your upset so you get some attention to your cause, maybe get some banners and a slogan or something. I say, if you understood the Free Trade Area of the Americas and who the main beneficiaries are, you'd be there protesting with them. Those "Free Trade" deals aren't for you or me, they are for figuring out how to make it easier for corporations to invest in each others countries, no matter the cost to the local populace, no matter how many jobs get lost. Firms SHOULD have a right to do so, but they were protesting, because no representatives for local interests were present.

They were meant for situations in which non-gun methods would not subdue a physically threatening or overwhelming person. The cops are lazy and abuse their use. The use in this video is a fascist state. Citizens still have rights, even in arrest, when guilt has not been proven in court.
