  • s0o it is not a problem at all to make this kind of power with turbos or some sort of forced induction-- most of the power comes from the heads as well-- as lonG as there is a Good bottom end to the motor-- oh and twin turbo cobra you cannot run anythin over 9.5 to 1 compression if u are runnin a decent sized turbo or some sort of forced induction- maybe with all the power from the turbo the motor may reach 18 to 1 compression but the pistons themselves must be low compression

High compression and Forced induction on any engine do not go togather unless, U r a serious racer that is willing to rebuild a engine every few races or season. EVERYBODY knows forged equipment is necessary TTC. A 1000hp Camaro is possable when it is running 9:1 and a 120mm turbo.. Oh you worried about turbo lag,, look up ZEX. You need to educate yourself before tou wipe your shit on the internet. There are people here that do know something.

  • dart makes 347 cubic inch blocks now there are many custom blocks available to buy--ive seen jeff connie and his belt driven turbo small block ford mustanG limited street car make 2450 hp at the wheels-- s0o yea you have enouGh turbo and a Good enouGh bottom end it is not a problem to make atleast a 1000 hp-- small block superlatemodel dirtcars with carburators make over 900 on the dyno--my uncle's all aluminum 380 small block made 830-sprint cars can make close to 1000 on fuel injection-

  • thats not a mod motor.....propably a small block ford i agree...but in order to make that amount of power it would have to be as it has been said a cast iron block but then again it is not uncommon to run chevy engines in ford chassis and that has the tone of a chevy big block.now the question of forced induction thats not a turbo to much instantanious torque.i would guess a large displacement chevy or ford engine with a twin screw or roots style supercharger..not a centrifugal

If you knew anything about cars then you would know only in stock form can you kinda tell what engine is comming around the corner. You are definetly no engine builder. ATI D-2R (entry level racer) can produce up to 1900hp this moves 2800cfm) (centrifugal) Roots are for street cars.

  • turbo car possibly procharged---easily 1000 hp ive seen 1000 hp cars not be able to spin the tires lik that on the dyno-- hell to be honest u can make over 2000 hp with a 302 block but its probably a custom aftermarket 347 or better block serious set of heads and bottom end to handle that power

  • a procharger is a supercharger not a turbo.......adn yeah thats obvious that its a over a grand but i seriously doubt that its a 302 block and hell no they cant haclde 2000 hp on that block not without sleeves. do you realize how much pressure that is per square inch.....i dont even know and i build motors.....al least an 18:1 compression ratio.

If you have a tt cobra and dont think that sn-95 coud put a grand to the rollers with the supercharger that everyone hears that watches this video then at least tell the truth.   • haha what are you smoken the are mustang making that with stock heads,cams,crank's,block and so on 1000 hp is'nt hard to do. especialy with the cast iron 03-04 cobra block.

  • clearly it's on a chassis dyno, why would somebody claim 1000hp and show a video on a chassis dyno if it's actually at the flywheel? For those that think it has less, IMO, it might, but i doubt it. the fact that it has a chute says it traps over 150mph, putting it easily at 800+hp. if he claims 1000hp, i say trust him, unless you happen to have proof of otherwise

  • you all obviously have no clue how a modular motor works, much less the power potentials !

  • if its 1000, calculating 15% drivetrain loss 150, but i doubt it since if its at 1000, theres probably alot of money invested. with that money he probably upgraded his whole drivetrain system. and i bet its a built 302. just a guess though.

  • 4.6L Right??, I bet there isn't that much money into it because it's all about tunning. V8's owen for sound, inline 6 may have more torqe but it's too high of a center of gravity.
