Yes Fred Phelps knows perfectly well he has made people support the gay community. He doesn't care. At all. He is not interested in actually recruting anyone into his church. He's only interested in publicity, ticking people off, and feeling like he is in control. I'm glad Nate got a realization and left along with 2 siblings. The 3rd one contrary to the belief didn't leave on her own. She was kicked out and still has these unfortunate beliefs.
