Firewarrior did indeed get both bolter as well as possessed bolter quite right, more so than Space Marine did. fallout new vegas dlcs are pretty awesome in my opinion =) , for about 15 bucks you get 8-9 more hours of the game (if you dont rush it i guess), and in fallout you always want more content :D

His appraisal of DLC is wrong. The problem with DLC is the content to price ratio. When one buys an expansion pack, generally you get around a third of the original game plus improvements for half the price. With DLC, you get maybe a 20th of the original for usually 1/6th of the price. It's a scam.
@LouisKing995 I never played the ps2, so I don't know about that. The PC games however were terrible. I only liked the RTS a little bid - it was interesting.

I agree with the first comment. They've turned XCOM, one of the most amazing strategy games of all time into an FPS (aghh!). Hopefully they'll keep Syndicate's simple, fun and STRATEGY elements!
Why are the dev's still fighting the moders? I mean, VALVe basically proved that making your game easily modable makes it far better received by the community and can lead to the community making your game better, which this game desperately needs by the look of things.
The Syndicate backstory actually makes the idea of an FPS set in that world pretty damn dumb. In the original game the agents you used for missions are mindless thralls; random people kidnapped off the street, brainwashed, and given cyborg upgrades. It was the reason given for why you had complete control over your agents, fit the dystopian cyberpunk setting really well, and was considered an important enough concept for it to be made into the intro movie for the game. Starbreeze got rid of it.
It should also be worth noting that even though TB says Relic is doing DLC wrong! they still offer free maps with patches and have given Dawn of War II a new game mode for free, as well as the upcoming exterminatus mode which will again be free.
Space marine would be cool a dynasty warriors type multiplayer, 100s of npcs with a few player generals, though ofc the space marine side would have less soldiers =3
I miss the days of the expansion packs like Roads to Rome, Lord of Destruction, Spearhead, United Offense, Bloodmoon, Tribune etc etc etc. I miss the good old days of PC gaming.

Anyone else excited for Need for Speed: The Run? I know the quick-time events are new (and don't look bad), but I'm really excited for the older style handling. I like that NfS is going back to its roots a little, but is also adding new elements to the series at the same time.

I mean, the guardsmen yield to the highest authority within the Imperium, and the Inquisition sits higher than any chapter. And remember: It's not heresy when it's done by the Inquisition, or on their orders.
@SparkyRespawn I can't remember the specifics of Soul Storm and Dark Crusade, but I do know quite a bit of space marine lore. So this may not apply to the scenarios you mentioned, but here goes...
The sisters of battle is a chapter within the Imperium of Man. They have certain groupings within the chapter which are just as zealous as the Inquisition when it comes to the touch of corruption, or even the possibility thereof, and frequently goes rogue. That might explain the second scenario.
Nothing about what has been anounced even remotely points to a Rainbow 6/Republic Comando type tactical game. Those aren't the types of games that Starbreeze make.
Visceral, story driven action game is what they have said. Wich is fine I suppose but it is such a giant lost oportunity. And you do not need it to be an FPS to be massive on consoles. A third person tactical open world game could do verry well on consoles. A balance between action and tactics, ME meets GTA.
I like TB's discreet text reminders to click the 'Like' button at the very end of the video. It's unobtrusive and doesn't annoy me like those pop up caption things in every other youtuber's video. It leaves me actually wanting to click the button for once. :)

I mourne the death of expansion packs. I'd much prefer a massive new campaign to go alongside the full game than a bunch of smaller mission packs. It just makes everything feel so disconnected. I wish Mass Effect 2 had an expansion covering all of the bases covered by the DLC, rather than 6 or so different missions. Expansions mostly offset the extra development time by being a larger, more high profile or possibly even boxed release.

@SparkyRespawn As for the Imperial Guard attacking a Space Marine chapter... Haven't the Blood Ravens been declared heretics several times over, throughout the DoW games? I mean, the guardsmen yield to the highest authority within the Imperium, and the Inquisition sits higher than any chapter. And remember: It's not heresy when it's done by the Inquisition, or on their orders.

@SparkyRespawn I can't remember the specifics of Soul Storm and Dark Crusade, but I do know quite a bit of space marine lore. So this may not apply to the scenarios you mentioned, but here goes...
The sisters of battle is a chapter within the Imperium of Man. They have certain groupings within the chapter which are just as zealous as the Inquisition when it comes to the touch of corruption, or even the possibility thereof, and frequently goes rogue. That might explain the second scenario.

Nothing about what has been anounced even remotely points to a Rainbow 6/Republic Comando type tactical game. Those aren't the types of games that Starbreeze make.
Visceral, story driven action game is what they have said. Wich is fine I suppose but it is such a giant lost oportunity. And you do not need it to be an FPS to be massive on consoles. A third person tactical open world game could do verry well on consoles. A balance between action and tactics, ME meets GTA.

I like TB's discreet text reminders to click the 'Like' button at the very end of the video. It's unobtrusive and doesn't annoy me like those pop up caption things in every other youtuber's video. It leaves me actually wanting to click the button for once. :)

I mourne the death of expansion packs. I'd much prefer a massive new campaign to go alongside the full game than a bunch of smaller mission packs. It just makes everything feel so disconnected. I wish Mass Effect 2 had an expansion covering all of the bases covered by the DLC, rather than 6 or so different missions. Expansions mostly offset the extra development time by being a larger, more high profile or possibly even boxed release.
