I used a part of the mountain-bike kit and mounted it on a small steel plate with some foam between plate and board, you can see it here. You can see a picture on bomber online, search for "Some GoPro HD footage on alpine Snowboard".

What kind of mount do you have? i got tachyon xc and i was thinking of mounting it the same way.. is it a suction cup? werent u afraid it would fall??
