  • Brain chip - CHECK MY SITE.

  • Have you ever hear of the jellyfish protein to help?

  • what guarantee is there stem cells would work?

  • Hello, this is kind of random, but I need your opinion. My pinky will not stop shaking and I am terrified that I might be getting Parkinsons. I put a video up of what my hand does. Please watch it and let me know if you think this is parkinsons.

  • There are a host of conditions that can cause tremor or "Parkinsonism." You need to see a neurologist - preferrably a movement specialist.

  • No its not Parkinsons.. Its just over used. Its just muscle spasm. I had the same thing a few months ago. So dont worry. My hubby has had PD for over 11 years. So i know all the signs

  • @FEARofTREMOR That sounds like focal hand tremor sweetie. It is not parkinson's perhaps focal dystonia.

  • idk, i hope i never understand what its like to have parkinsons... my heart goes out to all of you

stem cell research could change the world if you let it... to me, embryos are just as much as a baby as bacteria... embryos have no brain or consiousness... bu they could help somebody in need

  • When I stayed in Japan for a bit,I met my host father Jimpei, who has Parkinson's disease. He was awesome.

  • Thank you for exposing the reality of this devastation disease. There should be more forums like this to share truth, support, and information. Check out the website MyParkinsonsInfo for more good stuff.

Good luck. And, please post more video. Every bit of truth helps.

  • At 55 years old, my brother has been diuagnosed with Parkinson's. It takes him 10 minutes to write a check. He cannot put the keys in his car without using 2 hands. He cannot use the mouse on his computer without great difficulty. He was always right handed and his right side seems to be losing control. Lets get some research done!

  • how sad

  • Ghoulyiani sucks!

  • A very powerfu and insprational video

  • My dad has Parkinson's. That isn't so bad except I am deaf and I use sign language. In 5-10 years I won't even be able to communicate with my dad, not even lipreading. He keeps moving his head and I know in 5-10 years he won't be able to control it. Anyone who sits there and talks negative about it, God will take care of you.

  • whoever is talking about "god" relating to this disease is clearly ignorant. btw not only christians get this disease, people in Asia, Africa, South America, Europe... everyone can get it, not everything is christian.

  • d9002 pleez dont be ignorant and say things about God when it is obvious you haven't read a word of the bible. Jus like i wuldn't try to make a point about another religion unless i'm aware of all of their values.

  • If there is a God and he put us here, and gave us Mr Bush and the oh so christian Iraq war then surely he wouldn't be against us using Human tissue(alive or dead) to further the progression of the human race. BOTTOM LINE IS-Stem cell research hurts nobody and could prove to help millions of people with all sorts of afflictions. Isn't that what Christ tried to do?

  • This is gonna brew up a shitstorm but I'm gonna say it anyway. Most ppl with Anti stem cell research views claim it's bcause they are "against Gods will"or"anti-christian". I ask this as a person who neither believes that there is or isn't a God. What sort of God would deny these people, thousands of whom will be honest decent Christians,a cure for their illness'.

  • Because saying you're xtian seems to be all it takes to claim the higher moral ground and higher understanding of everything. Too bad the majority are hypocrites who just like the idea of telling people what they can or cannot do. (i.e., 99% of American xtians.) **gag**

  • some say that is against god, well how sure are they to say that God exists and if they belive that he exists then they shuouldn't take any medication for illness let God do the work!!

  • So, all you against Stem Cell research would rather see these eggs tossed in the garbage? Give us a break.

  • They might be christian eggs. See, it's okay to play god and create life in a test tube or through other artifical means, it's just not okay to stop life (or the possibility of). It's just because the sheep listen too closely to their corrupt, perverted leaders.

  • oooooh... suck my balls

  • ...I refer to all the ones that are against the research, but they dont really suffer from the problem. They are all hypocrites. I find it ridiculous to blame the stem cells research, because of the "moral" problems, and just be able to see all theese people suffer a slow, and painfull death. Shame on you all.

  • they need to get a cure for parkisins yes but i dont think stem cell research is right....in fact its wrong....i have a friend that has it but its not right

  • Then if you get stricken with this horrible disease, you sit there and suffer...and let you family suffer right along with you. Let those of us who want it get it. Why should you get to decide for anyone else?

  • hmm...you know, I don't think there's anything in the constitution that says that it's the government's place to fund research...and what about adult stem cells and cord blood? You don't have to kill babies to use those.

  • Um...they're not babies. (~~rolling eyes~~) It sounds like you need to do some of your own research to understand just what it is you're condemning.

  • yes, they are babies. Stem cells that are being talked about here come from human embryos - meaning that if allowed to follow their natural course, they will grow into human babies.

  • #1. Embryos are not babies. These embryos in question are those in deep freeze --leftovers after the fertility doctor implated the few that were used. You care about embryos? Maybe you should be going after the fertility doctors. Oh, but the pulpit hasn't barked about that yet.

  • You say: "if allowed to follow their natural course, they will grow into human babies." This is false. Only those that implant in a uterus become babies. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of embryos are being "discarded" by fertility clinics. What I and my fellow Parkinson's disease sufferers want is to allow researchers to use a few of these embryos to do research. Which is more "pro-life" -- throwing them away or allowing them to be used for research that could help people who are suffering?

  • To harvest stem cells from an embryo necessitates the destruction of that embryo which is human life. I do no opposed adult stem cells research and cord blood stem cell research, neither of which require the destruction of human life, and both of which have actually resulted in positive medical advances; so far there is no evidence that embryonic stem cell research will actually result in any positive outcomes.

  • noooo steam cell research is wrong a and a crime against god! i think they should help them but not that way freaking pagins

  • You can't even spell "pagan." Get out of middle school first, and when you're old enough to vote, try to voice your opinions in a more intelligent way.

  • Who the FUCK gave you the right to say what is right and wrong? You talk to god personally? Did you not hear what MJ said? And look at you, slandering and becoming holier than thou. Screw off. I have to see my mother die of this fucking disease, as it eats away at her brain every day.

  • steam cell research is wrong they should cure it yes but not that way

  • And christians wonder why they feel attacked all the time. Guess what...it's a counter-attack. Keep your religion out of our government and laws. Hypocrites abound in christianity and you don't get to decide for me.

  • Very worthy of a FIVE...as for the supposed compassionate conservative Christians of the Republican Party...may God afflict you with a disease there is currently no cure for, maybe then you will get a CLUE.

  • bet the christians hate you

  • If it wasn't for Rush, thousands of people including myself would not have known how bad this disease really is. For that I thank him. Now he can go burn in hell.

  • Excellent video. People can be so ignorant and high and mighty, but it really makes a diffrence to see the faces of people who are suffering

  • Excellent video. Thank you for posting it. I am 49 & have had PD for over 2 years. No matter what people think of embryonic stem cell research, they need to see the real faces of this disease.

  • very good video, thanks for your work,

  • I think it's pretty selfish of you to have the attitude of "I care only because I,or my loved one, suffers from this disease", and it disgusts me to hear such people say how they're doing this because they care "for humanity".

  • Funny, we must be watching two different videos, or, to quote Randy Newman, "maybe my ears are CLOGGED or something," because I didn't hear one of the people on the video saying they were doing anything "for humanity." They simply named their disease, showed what it looked like to have it, and said "the best hope" for a cure for it was embryonic stem cell research. Maybe you saw the director's cut or the "rushes," pardon the pun.

  • Thsnk you for posting this.

  • I hope the american public can vote for what is right.. a future where we can ease the suffering of millions of people using new knowledge gained from stem cell research.

  • I do hope that one day a cure for parkinson and other such diseases is found. I wish I were living in Missouri so I could cast my vote in favour of stem cell research.

  • My father suffers from both Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. He's a prisoner in a body that doesn't work, and a mind that's abandoning him. A once very strong, capable man has been reduced to this pitiful excuse for a life. Damn any of you who put your religion in the way of a cure.

  • i wish more people said that. indignant religious people are the ones bottlenecking everything involving "immoral" scientific research. It shouldnt be their decision, let the pastors and priests enjoy parkinsons for a decade and maybe they'll reconsider.

  • Parkinson's Disease IS Real. I see my wife struggle to cut her food or drink from a glass. She's not "faking it" or "acting." Thank you for showing the everyday faces of Parkinson's disease. And thank you Michael J Fox.
