It's not about tolerance. You can tolerate someone just fine and be their friend and everything...I'm friends with a gay guy and treat him like all my other friends. Do not date them go to bars where drinkn heavy drinkin is involved. you can be friends with them,why so u can witness to them about Christ, but do not be influnced by the things Ive listed above. Religion is belief, so she should be more open minded about other peoples religions, because she can find a lot of decent guys that have other beliefs.

kay, I know it seems prejudice to say Christians should only date Christians, but we do have a reason. And I see that some people have already said it. We don't go around asking people if they're Christians or not when we first see them (well, I don't) because we try not to be judgmental. Religion is a really touchy subject in the world and having different religions in a relationship would cause a wedge in between the two people. and I know you would say "Love conquers all." and all that good

I don't see why you couldn't date someone who is not a christian (is a different religion or simply doesn't believe in anything) I think it would be a rewarding relationship because you could see things from a different perspective. Many people incorporate their religious beliefs with their every day lives. All of you who are saying she's stupid for saying a guy has to be a Christian, apparently none of you are incredibly devoted to your beliefs. Do any of you realize how difficult it would be for someone to be devoted to one faith and try to have a truly intimate relationship with someone who is just as devoted to a different faith?

It's not about tolerance. You can tolerate someone just fine and be their friend and everything...I'm friends with a gay guy and treat him like all my other friends. However, for example, would you date an Amish person? Think about it..your way of thinking is completely different from theirs. Imagine the struggles you would have because of the huge differences. It is always best to be with someone who shares your morals and beliefs so that there is less conflict.
