Imam Abu Dja'far at Taahaawiy (from the Salaf as Saalih) said:

"Allah is supremely clear of all boundaries, extremes, sides, ORGANS and INSTRUMENTS." (Aqiedah Tahaawiyyah)

The first principle is that Aļļaah is not a body, i.e. not something in a direction that can be pointed at. For example:

Muhsin Khan translation of verse 68:42 (about the word Saaq): (Remember) the Day when the Shin shall be laid bare (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) and they shall be called to prostrate (to Allâh), but they (hypocrites) shall not be able to do so.

Translation of Shakir of the word Saaq: On the day when there shall be a severe affliction, and they shall be called upon to make obeisance, but they shall not be able.

Allah doesn't resemble His creation!

@hytata I said salafis believe you can make a dua with your hands raised just aslong as it is not after a fard prayer. Also Allaah has whatever noble and mighty features he himself has stated in the quran and what we were informed of by the prophet sallaahu alayhi wa salaam. Just because Allaah describes himself may not make sense to you in your brain does not mean you do not have to accept it. Allaah is what he says he is regardless of the human brain and understanding.

First of all, the Quran contain two kind of ayaat: Muhkamaat and Mutashaabihaat. The words Yad, Wajh, etc has plural meanings in the Arabic language. The Salaf as Saalih (the best generations of this Ummah) made it clear that Allah is free of having body characters.

And besides, if one says to you: Is Allah is a giant unknown shin? The answer would be no, because wahabis believe that their deity has more body parts, like hand, feet, eyes, face etc.

The creed of Ahl Sunnah is that Allah doesn't resemble to His creations. The words Yad, Wajh, etc has plural meanings. That's why the Sunnis deny the literal meaning of the words. If you pick a tafseer, a lot of things becomes clear. But the wahabis/so-called Salafis take the ayaat literally and believe that Allah is something strange composed of parts. This goes against the creed of the Salaf.
