Interesting that now, all three of these companies have either changed hands or are no more. And the Valenta engined HST at 7:20 as well. It like show how nothing stays the same,or something, doesn't it. Rather philosophical really.
Thoroughly enjoyed this. Two for the price of one, as well as a rail enthusiast I am also a big Suttons fan and seeing one of their tankers was a bonus. Your deltic footage is awesome. Thanks for posting.
What do folks think the new livery for EWS loco's will be like now theyre rebranding as DB schenker? Will it be red like their parent country, or perhaps blue like the 60 we've seen branded?
yeah that was brilliant showing that where was it taken at? especially with passenger trains as well as goods train EWS main place is in Killingholme do they still run 2 Grimsby on pipewipe?
I don't think there are regular railfreight services in and out of Grimsby Pyewipe. The nearest ones are coal and oil trains at Killinghome. I gather that some of these freight trains get diverted through Grimsby occasionally, via the Immingham line north of the A180.
lovely Valenta sound at 7:14 :D
