Companies pay a ton of taxes through their employees being taxed 35%, the 10% Sales tax on all the products they buy, and what ever other tax Uncle Scam wants to throw on them.
Corporations shouldn't exist, they are just collections of individuals that are granted rights individuals don't have, like not being liable for crimes or debts. Still though, taxes are ridiculous. If you want a product or service, pay for it yourself, don't force others to.
The only reason one would want low or no business taxes is so that company might chose that area to build in compared to other areas who may have higher biz taxes, but in reality business taxes are a necessity, and having higher biz taxes is actually better for a community or certain area than if they paid little or no biz taxes. FACT:Lowering biz and income taxes on the rich DOES NOT create or save jobs.
Why would a company just create more jobs because they have more money? That would be stupid. The only reason they would create more jobs is if they needed more to make more of the product or have more customer service reps. MORE PEOPLE SHOPPING creates more jobs, not having more money because the government gave it to you.

Companies do not hire people because they have more money. I am sick of that argument. If a company pays less taxes, it means they make more profits. Profits are what you have AFTER all expenditures have been factored to your total income.
Say a company has x employees manufacturing an average of x products a day. If they make more then those x products, the company has a surplus which must be stored, less? a deficit. The only reason to hire more workers is to meet increased demand.

Okay I just found the study that this woman is quoting. Its a GAO study and it didn't say 2/3 of corporations don't pay taxes. It said 55% of companies at least once over an 8 year period didn't pay taxes and quote: "about 80 percent of the companies studied paid no taxes because they didn't generate any profit after expenses"
the rest reported their taxes in other countries where tax rates are lower.
The republicans argue that these companies wont make enough earnings if they are taxed, then that they will go to Egypt and do business there because it'll be easier that here~

The whole "Company pays no Tax, Lies" a lot of that comes from companies not paying Property taxes for new buildings, or what ever deal they made with the city. Property Taxes should not be in place, no matter who you are, one guy or one big business. . .
Companies pay a ton of taxes through their employees being taxed 35%, the 10% Sales tax on all the products they buy, and what ever other tax Uncle Scam wants to throw on them.

The only reason one would want low or no business taxes is so that company might chose that area to build in compared to other areas who may have higher biz taxes, but in reality business taxes are a necessity, and having higher biz taxes is actually better for a community or certain area than if they paid little or no biz taxes. FACT:Lowering biz and income taxes on the rich DOES NOT create or save jobs.

When corporations have more money they make more jobs? - maybe true at times (aka if they are going under they wont hire) but if corperations don't pay taxes, thats less income for the government, and theres 2 things you can do when your low on $ 1)cut unnesisary things (but that only saves so much) if you make $100 a week lets say, you can reduce your weekly costs of groceries )that can save you $20 but...
2) ask for a raise/new job, and you get $150 a week - yeah...

we've lost jobs not from taxes, but because we have been selling bonds to foreign governments to the level of bankruptcy, so in lieu of payment of principle, we shell out interest and accessibility to our markets...its sad to see the corporate serf is led to believe domestic jobs will be created with lower corporate taxes, when most major corporations are just shells, having everything outsourced...so IMO, if jobs were to be created with lower corporate taxes, they would be created overseas...

Companies do not hire people because they have more money. I am sick of that argument. If a company pays less taxes, it means they make more profits. Profits are what you have AFTER all expenditures have been factored to your total income.
Say a company has x employees manufacturing an average of x products a day. If they make more then those x products, the company has a surplus which must be stored, less? a deficit. The only reason to hire more workers is to meet increased demand.

Okay I just found the study that this woman is quoting. Its a GAO study and it didn't say 2/3 of corporations don't pay taxes. It said 55% of companies at least once over an 8 year period didn't pay taxes and quote: "about 80 percent of the companies studied paid no taxes because they didn't generate any profit after expenses"
the rest reported their taxes in other countries where tax rates are lower.

Why is American right wing against government? How did liberal economics become the foundation of conservatism in US? In every other country in the world, conservatism is closely linked with being pro-goverment but USA. What being conservative has to do with consumerism and capitalism?
By the way, this is not a criticism towards US politic or societs, just genuine questions from a person who believes himself to be conservative and can not figure out American "right". I am really confused.
