The XRay engine might be one of the most advanced engines to date. Modded like this, I would say Crysis doesn't even begin to look as realistic as this.

@l0rf Because you don't use mods, nor do you make them. Aside from that, you're just one person compared to the many, many others who have experienced bugs and crashes. If you need numbers, then consider this: the Xray engine is nearly 10 years old now. The levels within the Kostya map pack, which I'm willing to bet you've never heard of, crash on full dynamic lighting because the engine can't handle the lighting in those maps. Pripyat in COP pushes the engine to its limits, and it's quite dull.

It's very nice you assume I never used any mods or that I haven't heard of any, because that's not the case. But if it makes you happy, the X-Ray engine is a piece of shit and the developers should be shot. Now just stop talking to me, I'm really not in the mood to debate this.

@l0rf Who said anything about hating Stalker? I've been playing the games since the leak days, so I think it's safe to say that I enjoy the series. Hell, most of my computer life has been devoted specifically to Stalker. However, just because you like something doesn't mean you should ignore its flaws, which, in Stalker's case, is its engine. I enjoy how you went into a semi-rage mode because I stated the facts and of course you're not going to want to debate this because you know I'm right.
