@jakefree25 It is in the title of this video. They are simpletons that cannot respond with any rationale, but only name calling. These simpletons, oh fuck, they are morons, are so intellectual apathetic that they vote against their own interest. After all, they voted twice for a retard they wanted to have a beer with.
Olbermann is the man, you right wings know nothing. Hmm lets give tax cuts to people who do not need them. If you cut corporate taxes the last thing they will do is hire people. The corporations just pocket the money. Only in fantasy land you will have no taxes. Ok you want no taxes republicans then how do we pay for this war you brought us in? The answer is you can not fund it, only taxes or what we call in the real world revenue funds it.
I swear if FOX news EVERY said the horrid, name callign things that olbermann did.. we'd never hear the end of it!!! yet olberman and his stupid ass is allowed to call everybody names and make fun of people?? I don't get it.. keith olbermann seriously needs his ass tore up BIG TIME!
how is obama not doing what olbermann is ranting against?
obama is continuing all the bull$hit bush did. wars, wiretapping, homegrown terrorist nonsense, etc. [except this time, we got a symbolic figurehead with left cover who pushes for one world currency, spending trillions (not billions keith) furthering our debt and adding to inflation.]
it's not about dems and reps, it's about BIG, freedom taking government. and this douche is gonna call people protesting against that, "slaves"??? wow!
candid: Bush was a bad president, but much of the criticism against him was excessive. And I think Obama's decisions to follow some of Bush's policies are generally correct. I'm glad to see Obama behaving in a pragmatic and rational manner...not as a naive and ideological wingnut.
You're also correct on the larger issue; people critcize based mainly on what "side" a pres is on. Obama is given a pass by the Left because he's on their side...Bush was hated because he was on the other side.
candid: No, I should have been more specific. I'm Ok with what Obama's doing so far on foreign policy and the whole gitmo/torture thing. I am NOT Ok with Obama's fiscal policies.
Specifically, I'm opposed to his insane plans to triple the national debt in a pointless quest for "big govt" programs that won't produce much of value. IMO this will eventually lead to much higher taxes for the middle class, inflation, and permanently reduced GDP growth.
lauberd is living proof (unfortunately) that our educational system is failing. Go watch yourself in the first 10 minutes of the movie Idiocracy!! Fortunately YOU ARE IN THE MINORITY!! hahahahaha
16th Amendment: The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.
Olbermann was Moreso ranting about corporate greed; Media complicity and immoral, but legal practices that allow for...well, let's call it what it is: Offshore Money Laundering. It's unfortunate that the good, passionate, justifiable intentions of the Stupendously well-organized and well-executed Teabaggers got in the way.
Olbermann gets it right, like damned-near Nobody; it's just that--because of his Own passion, he is misperceived, sometimes.
I love the brilliant people who are so upset. "taxes are unconstitutional" Let's have no schools, no roads, no military, no police, no fire and rescue!! That way we can have no taxes!!
You dont need a federal income tax for any of those things in fact after we pay for all the representatives incomes and the interest on the debt their is not a single penny left for roads, military, police, fire or rescue! State taxes pay for these things and gas taxes are supposed to go to roads what your local Gov does with those revenues is up to them! Corporate income tax which is very legal and dollar for dollar earmarked for the military! check out Aaron Russo's "Freedom to Fascism"
Education is working SO well[<50%grad rate?] Oh Yeah--the Military: a Billion a week in 7yrs of undeclared war? AND the Cops; tripled again under Bush, since Clinton's doubling, under phase One of the push for police state[Barry O to double, Again?] Those idiots are so ubiquitous, they have to fight each other off, for the chance to bust Sally Soccer Mom as she veers perilously toward 20, in a 15mph School Zone...Pathetic--Olbermann's en Fuego, I wish he'd have left the teabaggers out of this.
Right. A guy at the Indianapolis rally claimed free men were entitled to keep all they earned. Then he paid tribute to all the great members of the Armed Forces present.
I guess he never thought how soldiers and sailors get paid, or how they get equipped to do their jobs, if not through taxes.
Sheesh even Dobbs show featured a talking cotton swab who said something like... 'my country never asks anything of me, so I don't mind one bit paying taxes.' Argh this is pathetic!
I can't recall the Left wing media having one single critical segment over the myriad protests by Left wing nuts. Code Pink, the enviro-nuts, gay extremists, etc. It was ALL just fine with the Left.
But...the Right has a one-day protest about the bailouts and Obama's plan to triple the national debt and the Left wing pundits have a fucking hissy fit.
highway: Uh, no...the threat of physical violence in the US comes from the Left. Did you watch the Democrat convention? Did you see the thugs with black hoods smashing windows and attacking people? How about the G-20 demonstrations in UK? Violent thugs...all on the Left.
The Tea Party demonstrations had ZERO violence...none at all. In fact, give me some examples of conservatives who have committed acts of violence in this country.
When fascism comes to the US it will come from the Left.
i dont really think of those guys as "left." they're anarchists. i mean, you're talking about demonstrators at a democratic convention. think about it.
fascism could come from either side, i think, but in this country i think it would be best cloaked in christian religious extremism.
as for examples of right-wing extremism, do you not know about tim mcveigh? that dude who shot up that church after reading jonah goldman's book?
highway: Your points are valid; it could come from the extreme Right or Left.
IMO the threat from the christian Right is overstated. After all, we had 8 yrs of Bush...supposedly the most "christian" Pres we've ever had. And he had six yrs with complete control of congress.
And what did he change? Any change in policy on abortion, religion in schools, any hot button issues the christian Right wanted movement on? As far as I can tell, nothing much changed at all.
Realclearpolitics posted a video of a CNN reporter trying to antagonize a tea party protester and they labeled it that the protester was harassing the reporter. Then when I tried to post a comment I couldn't because I'd been blocked. There's the disinformation and forced suppression of political opposition that are the hallmarks of the Neocon propaganda machine in a nutshell.
wizard: I saw that CNN report too. The female reporter asked a guy why he was there, and cut him off after two sentences, asked him didn't he realize Obama was giving him a $400 tax cut, and then didn't let him answer the question.
She then made statements that implied the people at the rally were hot-headed nuts, and said the rallies were anti-CNN (I couldn't believe that one), She was clearly upset and emotional.
That's the Left wing MSM for you. Emotional, vindictive, and biased.
JohnR the media in tandem with the new Neocon/Neolib puppet will continue to work ruthlessly to shut out and ridicule anyone or anything that stands in the way of outrageous spending and endless war. That's also why they're forbidden from even mentioning Ron Paul's name. Ron's against everything they stand for and they're terrified of him or his supporters gaining political power.
exacerbate; More gibberish, incorrect statements, and invalid assumptions from you.
First, I'm not a Ron Paul supporter and know very little about him. Second, I've got a post-graduate degree have followed poltics for over 30 yrs and have forgotten more about "the issues" than you'll ever know.
And finally, I stand by my main point which is that you are a name-calling bigot and your pretensions to "intellectualism" are absurd. Like my paperboy trying to give me stock market advice.
Prove ANYTHING I just said wrong. If you're such a law major then I'm sure you already know this. You're not a person you have a person. Your "post graduate degree" didn't teach you that? Look up the legal definition of the word Person and tell me what it says. It's a persona, an image. Therefore you HAVE a person. You can't be a persona. I persona is much the same as an ego, it's basically who I think I am or who you think you are. Prove anything I said wrong.
exacerbate: lolol. You've got it backwards pal. When you make accusations, the burden of proof lies with YOU. YOU have to prove it's true...I don't have to DISPROVE anything.
Go back and read you first post and try to convince me again that you're anything other than an emotional bigot throwing around wild accusations and calling people rude names.
I'm surprised you haven't accused me of being a paid member of the world-wide zionist jew conspiracy yet.
Funny we are sheep, while the people who listens to the mass media obviously think for themselves? Who owns the media and whose telling you they know whats best for you? Its always the few who stands up and say this is wrong that are sheep, the rest of the people who are too lazy to even do a google search are independent thinkers. Who really are the sheep?
Ron Paul fans are the sheep. You won't move an inch unless Ron Paul suggests it. All you do is sit there and post videos all day about what Ron Paul thinks and what he said yet I haven't seen one of you do anything constructive or productive. Oh yeah you teamed up with the biggest propaganda tool on the planet Fox News. I'm really going to start taking your word for it now. BTW....The all networks are owned by 5 companies which mostly consist of Zionist Jews.
You know who owns the media and yet you still call me sheep? Tell me where do you get your news? How is it you are so informed but still agree with Olbermann. He says we should fight corrupt corporations and yet anyone who does are simpletons, sheep, extremist, ect. Point is you agree and follow propaganda laid out by mass media, owned by , like you said "Zionist Jews," and the few people who have differing opinions are SHEEP.
My comments reflect my own views and if they happen to correspond to Ron Paul's views then so be it. And Ron Paul supporters didn't team up with Fox News. Fox is trying to hijack this movement and somehow make it their own watered down and Neoconized version. Fox was Neocon from the start and especially after how they treated Ron Paul in the Republican debates I'm sure no Ron Paul supporter is much of a Fox News fan.
Whatever. That's all they post is Glenn Beck and shit Ron Paul said on Fox News. You should really look into who's sponsoring these tea parties. I think you'll be surprised.
exacerbate: I always chuckle when people refer to others as "sheeple". My first question is...how is it that people who hold opinions different from yours are "sheeple", but you somehow are NOT a "sheeple" yourself? I guess you're just too wiley. lol
I'll bet a dollar you're uneducated and overweight, and are sitting at your PC with a bag of cheetohs. Sheeple indeed!
Not hardly but I like how you are trying to project your own insecurities on me like that. Just goes to show that you are very weak in character. You can't debate me on an intellectual level so you are trying to take shot of "my appearance". That's pretty fucking weak dude. If you don't know how to debate people without bringing their personal appearances into it then why don't you stay out of it. I don't eat cheetoes btw. I don't like chips at all and don't eat candy either.
exacerbate: I'm happy to debate anyone on an intellectual level. All you need to do is post comments that are...you know...intellectual.
But instead, you post comments calling people "sheeple", referring to "Zionist Jews", and insulting the guy who likes Ron Paul. Not really very mature or intellectual of you, is it?
No I was pointing out facts. You may have taken them as insults. Really this had nothing at all to do with you but you chose to join the conversation so there ya go. Then you had the audacity to assume things about my appearance. I don't know where that came from. What? Have you ever ate a cheetoe? Have you never had a snack? Why does having snacks every now and then equate to someone being fat? Also, what do you have against fat people anyway seeings how you brought them up?
exacerbate: Uhhh. no...referring to people that you disagree with as "sheeple" is not a "fact". It's an opnion...and name-calling to boot. D'ya get? D'ya got it?
A person can oppose certain israeli policies without referring to "zionist jews". Using terms like that is not an attempt to engage in "intellectual debate" as you claim...it's hate-mongering and name calling.
But you're too far down the ideological bolt hole to grasp any of this. To you, whatever comes out of your mouth is TRUTH.
First off you have a person you're not a person. Just like you have a shirt but you're not a shirt. There's a huge difference. But I don't expect Ron Paul to teach you the difference. Secondly the reason you're a sheep is because all your orders and ideas come from Ron Paul and not your own independant research of the subject. You just follow blindly. Not unlike a sheep.
Did he just say we lose 100 billion dollars in tax revenue to corporations? Is he talking about the Federal Reserve Bank? A company thats not apart of our government but doesn't pay taxes.Or the 700 billion thats not accounted for that we gave to "bail out the banks?" I dont get it. Why is he so angry about all these companies dodging taxes and yet does nothing? Instead, hes yelling and lecturing the people who were brave enough to stand up to this corruption and calling them idiots.
Here Keith Olbermann completely avoids the main reason for the outrage that's led to these protests and that's the massive out of control SPENDING! It's nothing short of downright THEFT of American taxpayer dollars and given to a few criminal bankers. Meanwhile it's causing the Fed to print trillions of dollars out of thin air and in the process destroying the currency and skyrocketing inflation. It's a banking conspiracy and Olbermann is acting as a shill on its behalf.
wizard: Yes, you're correct. But, you understand, Olbermann and all of MSNBC are Obama cheerleaders and they denigrate ANYTHING that is remotely critical of Obama.
So...instead of discussing the reason why the Tea Party protests are occurring (excessive govt borrowing/spending), they ignore this point and ridicule the protesters. Calling them simpletons and implying they're too "stoooopid" to "get" Obama's brilliant schemes.
JohnR22926 the Neocons have hijacked the Democratic Party now essentially making them Neolibs if you will and they're using the same tactics they used against anyone who was critical of Bush on anyone who's critical of Obama. They'll do their best shut out all dissenting voices and they're working overtime now that those voices have started to spill over from the internet and (finally) to the streets.
So glad this asshole is unemployed.

exacerbate: Uhhh. no...referring to people that you disagree with as "sheeple" is not a "fact".

More character assassination from the Left.

JohnR22926 the Neocons have hijacked the Democratic Party now essentially making them Neolibs if you will and they're using the same tactics they used against anyone who was critical of Bush on anyone who's critical of Obama. They'll do their best shut out all dissenting voices and they're working overtime now that those voices have started to spill over from the internet and (finally) to the streets.

yeah, corporations might be avoiding taxes, but this guy makes it sound like we WOULDN'T be paying them if they didn't
A corp doesn't care, if the cost to produce a product is $5,
of which $5 is material and labor,
or if $3 is material and labor, and $2 is tax
couldn't make a difference to them
hell, they're avoiding taxes and passing the savings directly to us, god bless them
