another good thing to get off the supper glue is nail polish remover note it has to have acetone in it

@Peachiko i have learned that on the professional ones (the ones you buy) there is a lightly coloured string attached that goes over the head it runs from ear to ear ,that means that you also need some wheight on those esrs i would advise sticking blue tack on the inside. ^^ hope that helped

I'll bet if you put some of those little gold file pin things in the sides of the ears, you could make them open and close. And you could cover up the gold part with those little circles. And if you wanted to go the extra mile, if you mounted the ears on a headband, you could buy little hooks to put inside the ear, where could hangs some wires/cables inside, so that when you opened up your ear, you could pull a cable out and hook it into stuff. XD

in stead of useing superglue can you use a hot glue gun? then i might not come apeart earsyer thats what i think. but could use a hot glue gun if you wanted to.

Thats ok! If you can go around the edges and use super glue/hot glue. But be careful to not melt the foam!

That's the only way you can get the correct form of the ears and volume of them. If you want a website for resin ears that are made of plastic resin and aren't foam i can give you a link. If you want it to look more 'official' and expensive i guess.

Felt looks a lot cheaper in my opinion. I got a lot of positive feedback at conventions for my ears and they said foam looks a lot better. Felt will also have a tendency to bend and not want to keep a firm shape that Chi has for her plastic ears.

The foam is easy to find though - walmart or any craft store had them. And they are less a than a quarter. you can use felt - but you will have a lot of complications and it will not look as good.
