@fergsnando, I'm the same age as you by the sound of it, I could not agree with your sentiments more! I've just started organising (well this is our first one, touch wood!) an 80s 'Blitz Club' night hopefully recreating Steve Srange's Blitz Club of the early 80s with all the Bowie/Electro/Synth type stuff. Quite a bit of competition with local pubs and clubs doing cheap 70s/80s nights but we hope to be a cut above!

@Jonnyx2376 I see your point yet the great thing about music is that everyone has their own taste. I mean I don't like chav music yet they're more than welcome to enjoy it.
Great song from my 20-something era! Been trying to learn that basic opening guitar chord, but just can't seem to get it right, to have it sound THEIR way. Perhaps it's better off that way....!!

This is when music had to pass the club scene's approval. Not a bunch of clueless teens.

i'm so happy to see how serious they are about playing music and swinging their bangs
i want to cut my hair and buy a drum machine
this would be a great spot for a hair salon, even the song title is appropriate

Hey no problem fella! Us people who know what quality is must stick together against the advancing hordes of idiots that need total brain transplants - all the best!!!! :-)

@Jonnyx2376 I see your point yet the great thing about music is that everyone has their own taste. I mean I don't like chav music yet they're more than welcome to enjoy it.
AlanRickmanFan1122 1 year ago
@Jonnyx2376 People only listen to Lady GaGa and Justin Bieber nowadays. I agree though, Spandau Ballet kick ass.

Great song from my 20-something era! Been trying to learn that basic opening guitar chord, but just can't seem to get it right, to have it sound THEIR way. Perhaps it's better off that way....!!

English has the most words of any language but it does not have an adjective strong enough to describe the quality of this song!!!! Love it!!!!
