Well, according to folklore, vampires were supposed to be OCD. One way to distract (and possibly defeat) them was to throw poppy seeds at them. They would have to get down on their hands and knees, and count EVERY SINGLE ONE even if it meant burning in the sunlight.

Wow I remember burying my face in my pillow and bawling 'la la la' til it was over cuz I was TERRIFIED of those two back then (I was around 4) haha!
