You can set your profiles on the BlackBerry Bold 9900 to whatever suites you so if you want it to vibrate when you get a text then you can set it up to do that :)

@Annette932 AT&T have announced they will have it in white but no release date so far.... So it can take months. I live in Cali too, longing for the white!!!! :(

the reason why i like white its because ive had Black bb's all my life, for a change i want something in white :) i guess... but still i got the black over the white, change in housing will do the trick :) so you can have either white or black bb.

black is more sleek, elegant and professional. the white one is a cutie phone casual and more of a day phone :) i like both. only that black is very sophisticated looking and much more expensive looking.

I personally prefer the white variant but it's totally down to personal preference. If you pop into a Vodafone store, you can take a look at both too see which you prefer.

i heard the camera for the white bold has autofocus which is left out of the feature set for the black on. is this true?

Both the black and white variant have the same specifications including auto-focus. The only difference is the colour.

@mcxios yours does. the left isn't an LED though. you might notice it blink a faint red every now and then. usually when you're on the phone in the dark

i have the blackberry bold 9780 and as slick and nice the 9900 looks i prefer the 9780, the fact that the 9900 has a touch screen + keyboard really kills it for me, as in my opinion those features should be separated like its been done with the torch. both touch + keyboard, it should not be combined together into a bold.

but thats only mine opinion :)

This is just me but I think the black looks better. I dont like how the the 2 dots for led and and light sensor very visible in the eyes. The back part of the phone doesn't look as good somehow, i can't really see the nice battery cover texture, maybe that's just my eyes. and its kinda washed out, lastly i dont like the black touch pad. The phone is very nice though
