I was unemployed for 9 and a half months last year.. as such, I only made about 10k for the entire year, so I got a hefty tax refund (my tax liability was like 16 bucks total). I have a feeling I'm going to be screwed come next year though.

@davincij15 : Well, actually the taxes on the super-wealthy have decreased massively over the last 20 years. And you are trying to tell me, that these decreases for the 5% have somehow benefited the middle class? You are very much mistaken, davinci - because the middle classes in western societies are being dismantled as we speak. None of this trickle down shit has benefited anyone but the super-rich + income disparity in the US has never been HIGHER. So, you can expect some resentment.
