Dear Brother! If you belong to religion 'Islam', I don't think it's an issue for you to understand the reason for such mourning.

Every year we remembered the sacrifice of Hazrat Abrahim(A.S) and Hazrat Ismail(A.S.) by sacrificing our animal irrespective of the fact that it happened centuries of years ago. How can we forget the sacrifice the Imam-e-Hussain(A.S.) whose sacrificed everything for Islam.
