Do you know how to white balance your video camera? Color/lighting/focus, if improved, would lead to a better viewing experience. The highlights were too short to determine the quality of the overall project presentation. It doesn't mean, however, it appears you don't know what you're doing. Improving your videography would better promote the sale of the DVDs; however, I'm not convinced by the video the DVDs are worth purchasing. BTW, TileaShower<com is an expired domain as of: 1/25/11.

@johnpow32 Hey, take a look at the shower pan I built. It is really nice. I use permabase, not duroc, but it comes out superb and very strong. Def not a fail. Built many of them and never had a problem.

The video response to this video could very well be this guys shower. His way is very out dated. It is more expensive and has a lot of spots that one little mistake makes a huge problem. There are simpler and more full-proof ways out there. Just call a professional that is willing to warranty their work.

Do NOT pay attention to this HACK, he only has a vague idea how to build a shower. His very first step was wrong. He didn't place a pre-slope under the membrane.

a wet saw is needed for a stone work job of a decent size.ceramics, a hand held angle grinder is sufficient.the us is totally behind.all electrical,plumbing and ventilation fixturers are designed to cover the cuts.saving time and more importantly giving a better finish.

I've been installing tile for 30 years.....hummmm, the video quality was very poor, you skipped a lot of parts. I do not see how anyone could learn much from your video. Using cement board is a step down from "mud set" but that is an art and not for the do it yourselfer. I give you credit though for making a video...I haven't!

for cuting the tiles you can use a grinder whit diamond blade

people who do a full tile job with just a grinder and diamond blade i dont consider to be real tile men. if you spend money on a nice wet saw instead of drugs you can get a better reputation as an installer by making nice saw cuts. you cant do a marble job with a grinder or it will look like you made your cuts with an axe!!

I must say that I respect my elders but you need to consult with the TCA handbook for ceramic tile installation. I don't know if you skipped a step in your video but the TCA calls for you to first pre float the floor prior to installing the pan. A boo boo it was the cause of the failure in my video. If you are going to do a how to do it by the book.

Lol you are using a home depot grout float! the best Grout floats are made by marshalltown, you can only find them on some Tile stores and distributors, they are really nice. Home Depot grout floats hurt your wrists after a while because the foam is too stiff.
