I had wanted to purchase a Silver Bullet but called them and have to admit the dude I spoke to on the phone didn't seem to interested in helping me/answer my questions-sort of made me feel like an idiot. So from watching your other reviews decided to get the Buzz Pro, of course it's out of stock but will get one as soon as they're back in stock. Thanks for the great reviews!
Okay baby, which one of these has the best vape, the screwdriver, bb, alpha or omega. Im tired of analogs and I my mom just passed away from lung cancer... I need to switch... I just want a great vape
@mezmaries I'm very sorry to hear that :( here's what you do , get a SilverBullet, get some AW IMR 18650 batteries, get some low res 510 attys and some juice , then , vape your face off. The Bullet is incredibly durable and will last you a good long time. The BB is smaller, which some people prefer, whichever one you get, be sure to get some of the AW IMR batterys, makes for a much better vape
About two months after I started using my e-cig I stopped getting a nicotine buzz off of my 24mg juice. So I switched to 36mg juice and then a week later I stopped getting a buzz again. Am I just getting tolerant to the nicotine? Has this ever happened to you?
just to let you know how strong of a unit this is. i drive a huge forklift at work and last week i hit a 4x4 block in the road and dropped my sb it fell off the forklift hit the ground and i ran it over. it destroyed the atty and tip but nothing but a little scratch in the sb i had a 40 ft tractor trailer box on the forks at the time this happened this thing should be called bullet proof not silver bullet lol hope this helped someone happy vaping :) 51 days smoke free :D
@GrimmGreen Hey Grimm love the info and entertainment you bring to the masses, but i was just curious if you would ever do a several year follow up to the SB?
My thinking is that now you're vaping royalty (lol), and you have used everything out there; how do your old favorites stand the test of time? Just a thought; any ways keep up the good work, and as always keep on (comment edited due to violation of uploaders TM)------------JK See you at vapecon
nice review man!! you really need to try cartomizers with the SB but at 6v it's the best thing I've orderd so far and just orderd the ego t soo hoppfully good vapping on that
Where would you suggest getting those RCR123A protected batteries. I seem to be having trouble finding 3 volt PROTECTED RCR123A, I guess I was looking for CR123A but you saying RCR123A is what the silver bullet should have in it for 6 volt vaping?
@GrimmGreen I've just ordered one, your reviews are all quality. I ordered it with the 18650 3.7 volt battery and going to use LR 510 attys that i already have. i will end up trying 6 volts with a normal res atomizer. Was going to hold out for this super t shockWave 26650 thats coming out but it will be pricey ! This silver bullet looks better value for money.
I have another question, well now I want the actual Silver Bullet instead of the BB. Just one thing I'm really new to this so yeah, do you need to buy empty cartridges for this as well with the atomizer or do you just use a 510 atomizer and drip?
Where do you get spare batteries for this device, I cannot find a website that sells them. I was looking for a replacement 3.7v and the ones that make 6v.
@jackandcokeyummy, you're complaining about the wrong thing. Grimm's light colored room makes it appear that he is producing less vapor than he actually is. Shining light into vapor and adding a black background enhances the appearance of vapor. Or in other words, it allows you to see how much is really being produced. If Grimm was vaping in a freezing cold room then you would have something to complain about but enhancing the appearance of vapor is helping you see the vapor better.
This is a question for anyone, i would like to get a double barrel silver bullet but i seem to only be able to find the "double barrel top". does this mean i have to purchase a silver bullet and then buy the top to it? If that's the case then i would end up having to spend well over $200 and be stuck with a part that i wont even use :(
Hi Grimm, I was just wondering if you had ever run into clear Noalox. I bought some at the hardware store and it says its antioxidant joint compound but it isn't grey like I've seen and I wanted to make sure I got the right stuff here. Sorry if this is a stupid question.
here is a link to a girl smoking a real cigarette with no beam of light to enhance the exhaled smoke, this is real and you cant see "epic smoke". Most of the vapor review videos i have seen obviously use a light source to enhance the vapor they exhale...i have used a few different vaporizers in the last 4 months so i know how they work or dont work in real life.
@jackandcokeyummy i assue you i have never used anything to enhance the look of the vapor in any of my videos.... just my normal bedroom lighting dude.
i have found with the Silver Bullet if you use enough liquid 3-4 drops every time you vape it vaporizes the liquid so quickly it clogs the coil, i have used VG and PG liquid clear and dark colored. If you use not enough liquid it taste like shit and burns out your atomizer the silver bullet is a money trap!
the people who make thee vids must be doing paid promotions i am guessing. The silver bullet is not this good at all. I get more consistent vapor dripping liquid into my NJOY pro atomizer and useing the small low volt batter that starter kit came with. The silver Bullet burns up or clogs atomizers within a day or 2, it sucks!
@jackandcokeyummy i assure you i this is not a paid advertisement in any way. This is actually my buddies Silverbullet that he lent me for a few days to try out. i liked it so much i got one for myself , and it has been easily one of the best PV's i have ever had.
another jack wad blowing vapor into a beam of light, of course it looks epic you dumb ass. I have the silver bullet with 4 different atomizers, 2-510's and 2-510 Low resistance...all yeti atomizers, using 2-3volt batteries. The Low resistance atomizers do work much better and produce epic vapor...but only for about a day before they clog, need to be cleaned or burn out completely. The silve bullet is a huge waste of money
@jackandcokeyummy wow... sorry you feel that way, not sure what you meant by the "beam of light" thing but ok. I have had great success with my silver bullet, As a quick pro tip you should NEVER be using low resistance atomizers at 6v. i'm surprised that they even lasted you a day before dying.
@jackandcokeyummy burn out your atty completely? is that how you clean your attys dude? when you dry fire your attys like that you burn the wick inside the coil and it wont suck juice as good as they did when they were brand new. theres your problem when using yur silver bullet, your using burnt out garbage attys. and LR attys are to be used at 3.7v to simulate 6volts. get yourself some new attys and dont burn um', always keep them wet, good luck.
@stjernevild yea then after 2 day the atomozers are burnt out or clogegd cause you gotta use soo much liquid to fuel the 6volt batteries so the attys clog or they burn out, the SB is a huge waste of money
Hey Grimmgreen I just ordered my sb . IT's my first high volt pv and I don't know if the hot spring is something i need or even what it dose. I only got the 18650 battery cause altsmoke didn't sell any others. i did order a hot spring just in case i do need it but idk. also do you know a good battery vender where i can get some rcr123a's so i can rock this baby at 6 volts.
@minko123 it will be good for liek 2 days, maybe 3 then the attys will begin to burn up or drwound, terurn it before your 30 days are up the SB is a huge waste of $
Just got my SB, and now at 3.7 volts with a LR atty the game has changed, now the SB is a true beast at 3.7 volts and 6 volts AND NOW THERE IS A PASSTHROUGH FOR 5VOLT FOR THE SB
Hey Grimmgreen I was wondering about the silver bullet running at 6 volts. I have the batteries for the prodigy v2 but they are much smaller than the tube of the SB. Would i have to get a rounder battery? Or do you know where i can purchase the batteries to make it 6 volts? Thanks.
@oldspice4444 so the V2 and the SB use the same batteries , the LiFePO4 CR123a batteries , the yellow ones. The SB can also use the blue protected Tenergy 123a batteries , but those will not fit in the V2 , confusing right? i have also heard from bunches of people that the SB runs closer to 5v than 6v no matter what batteries you end up using.
I went on altsmoke and was going to buy the silver bullet but there was no charger for the batteries at all . I cant find a charger for the silver bullet anywhere . Im definitely not going to buy it without a charger ! lol . Can you get back to me and let me know where to get the charger .
puresmoker(dot)com off the top of my head carries the same batteries and charger that work in the SB , they also work in the Prodigy V2. the 18650 for 3.7v vaping doesn't work in the V2 , i got a few of those from DealXtreme , slow slow shipping , but good prices.
I now only use my SB at 6v to bring life back into weaker attys - they come back to life and perform excellently :-) I think the SB is a very quality device, but find at 3.7v my SD MKI 510 seems to perform better. The SB at 6v is very thirsty and was hard to keep wet - I am very pleased to say that the zFm seems to really perform well and is the 1st cart mod that keeps the atty wet :-)
Is it me or do you also get that nasty taste at the end of the vaped liquid. i removed the bridge in my 510 atty and i still get that nasty taste. Have you gotten that prob too? Oh yeah and i do have a Silver bullet, actually the black version. Its awesome!!!
at 6v.. you GOTTA keep that atty wet wet wet. 3 drips , 4-5 puffs... repeat. That's my general rule. As soon as the atty get's a little dry you will get that horrible burning. I know Phee recommends removing the wick and bridge , in my experience it was the worst vape i have ever had. Nothing against Phee , some people have had great success doing that.
Great review and thank you for the heads up but.....I think you just convinced me to stay away from a 6v device. As you say, these 5v and 6v devices need more juice. One of the main reasons I got into vaping (other than health concerns) was also to save money, and I don't know what other people consider heavy vaping but, if I do 3 drips for 4-5 puffs then repeat, given where the prices of some e-juice is at (it's only gonna go up) I would be vaping about $30/day! Peace!
yeah , even the heviest of vapers really only vape about 10mls of juice per week. Figure 30mls of juice from china is around $10. not bad... even if you vape more and round up it's still probably only $20 per month in juice... lot cheaper than my old $16 a week on cigarettes
Your numbers don't add up. Check the lastest Poll at ECF "How much liquid do you use in a day?" and of this post 65% of vapers polled are using at least twice the amount you are saying that "even the heaviest of vapers really only vape about 10mls of juice per week" So in conclusion, at this rate and at most USA made juice prices it's much closer to $100 a/month. HV
so even if people are using 20mls a week. that's 80mls per month. For usa made juice , it might be more pricey , unless you go to tastyvapor or vikingvapor. Chineese bulk juice is only around $10 for 30mls , so even if you are vaping 90mls of juice per month that's still only $60 per month in juice. if you smoked 3 packs of cigarettes per week (most people smoked more) you would be spending $80-$90 per month on cigarettes.
@JR1068 I vape pretty heavy, about 12-13 ml's a week. I DIY my own juice and it costs me about $3.00 for 10 ml's of 25 mg/ml juice. So, lets round up to 20 ml's per week, which would be $6.00, compared to the carton a week i used to smoke, which cost me $39.14 per week. Thats an extra $33-ish per week that i can spend on booze and porn!!
I've got the Silver Bullet and it's awesome! Really enjoying the 6v! With all the extra heat and power - great vapor, but I've just found that my mouth peices that I've used when direct dripping have little burnt edges to them - don't want that. It only happens with the longer mouth pieces that don't have the brown polyfil section. My question, have you ever had this happen? What mouthpiece do you use on the atty when u direct drip? The 6v is just too much for standard plastic.
NICE! yeah the silverbullet is an awesome device. I have had the same problem with plastic mouth pieces. Now i either use the brass t-tips from supertmanufacturing(dot)com , or i take an exacto knife and cut about 1/4 inch off the bottom if the mouthpice to keep it away from the hot 6v coil.
Hey Nick: Thanks for the reply! I have been slowly learning what juices work well at 6-volts. Vaper talk dulcis juice gets destroyed at 6-volts. 3.7 volts will always be in my collection because I love the dulcis. Otherwise im hooked on 6-volts and the silver bullet for most juices. Keep up the great vids! VAPE ON!
Hey Nick: So, I just recieved my silver bullet today and was wondering if there is a good juice to vape at 6-volts. It seems to me that at 6-volts the flavor seems to get distorted or destroyed. Any thoughts? Keep up the great vids!
Yeah , some of my juices also get flavor distorted at 6v. my Marlboro as well as fly-cured and Riskee perform very well at 6v. The new eliquidplanet usa made juice perform awesome at 6v. I find juice with a delicate flavor like black tea , or vanilla get killed at 6v.
Hey Nick: I am thinking about getting a silver bullet for 6-volt use. All of my stuff is 901. Can I get a S.B. for a 901? The site is unclear to me on what to order. Any thoughts on what to order? Thanks Bro!
I own both, and both are great (even use the same batteries). In my opinion the SB is much more solid than the Chuck. I'm always worried I am going to break the switch on the Chuck... no worries of that on the SB.
Thanks for all the reviews and info on all the videos you do! Keep up the videos and I will for sure keep watching! I'm new to vaping, about a month but I really appriciate the videos you do! Thanks!
I also don't know a lot a bought batteries but mah stands for milli amp hours and a average smart phone has a battery between 1350/1500 mah so that pretty big
C+? You didn't dig it that much? Judging by your vid I would have thought you would have given it @ least a B+ (IMO I'd give it an A but hey...). Most aesthetically pleasing to the eye, indestructible mechanical design (zero electrical flaws: button etc), 3.7 & 6V option, lengthy battery life & SICK vaper... what more is there?
if it was a touch smaller it probably would have been a B+ ... i get that it's really sturdy and thick , but it's just a little to big for me , i have no problem taking mods out and around town... but really felt weird taking this one out. It vapes amazing
Damn Grim that silver bullet puts out a shitton of vapor. I might have to do a review of my chuck at 6v to try and top it. I might have to admit that you got me beat though, My cr123a's are in the mail for it
Neverthless, I think it's the 18650-- all weekend, no need for a usbpass, anywhere in the house, massive heft just throw it in your pockets (minus atty of course) without any need to worry about buttons, or anything fragile falling off --kind of vaping that puts the SB on top.
But alas, the BB is coming and I'd really like to see you do an AdapteveR review...6v out and about!
Haha... I knew you'd love the SB...great review all around!
Two things...those cr123s are good (and the company is excellent), but I have the same issue after about 4 hours. Tried some Soshine and AW's w/ lower "rated" mAh, but kick ass.
Your thoughts are mine exactly regarding 6 volt vaping Nick. I do almost feel spoiled and I hope it doesnt ruin my experience of my soon to have PS Protege.
Last night for the 1st time I tried the Blue Foam plug mod for the 510 cart -Have you heard of this?. Holy Hell thus far it's been the most inctedible vape experience I have had to date. I'm using my SB at 6 volts and in using this mod it's like every hit you take tastes like a fresh drip from beginning to end and not once did I get the horrid burnt TASTE. fOR 6 VOLTS ITS AMAZING SO IF YOU HAVE YET TO SEND THE SB BACK TRY IT BEFORE YOU DO!
The biggest reason for the SB's size is because of the switch. 90% of that switch is inside the body, it's HUGE. The Prodigy V1 is MUCH thinner, just wide enough to take an 18650 and it's thin-walled, however the switch is tiny and isn't rated for nearly as many clicks... So it's kind of a toss-up.
Steve has hinted that the V2 will be even smaller, being 5v-only with a mouth activated switch (like the copper) with a low likelihood of failure... We'll see.
I'm really looking forward to the V2... Right now the Prodigy is my one-stop shop, it'd be nice to make it my backup device so I can finally give the chinese batteries to someone else. I know I'll never get a 3.7v device again.. The Prodigy V1 is small enough and despite the lack of a recessed switch, since it takes pressure to activate it never goes off in my pocket accidentally.
Hey Nick: So, is there a smaller 6-volt pv. on the market that is highly portable that you are thinking about getting. What would you recomend. For me the holy grail would be 6-volts, highly portable and great batterie life. Is there such a thing? Thanks for the great vids! Later!
Great review, this will be my next purchase based on your response. And I'd say in about 75% of all your reviews one could definitely say after each sentence that's what she said. May be immature but is still true.
I could easily give one... being that I own both. They are very compareable in vapor production (probably because they use the same batteries). I got the chuck just because of the customizations you can get on it. As far as which device I prefer it would be the SB hands down. It is shorter (thicker though), and has a switch that I don't worry about busting if I happen to drop it (unlike the chuck). Both are great mods... I just think the SB is a more solidly constructed device.
A C+?! Are you mad?! I haven't even got to try it at 6v yet and I am already in love with it. I do have adapters so I can use other attys though. I did keep an eye on battery life and I got a solid 13 hours of vaping from the 2400mah batteries. But I tend to vape a lot, especially when I am at home. I did carry it to work with me today too, but I don't have a problem carrying something like this with me. Frankly, I don't give a hoot what people around me say about it, I love it. Awesome Review!
ha ha... hey a C+ is better than i ever did in school , it's a great device don't get me wrong. The size is really the deal breaker for me. I think this is well worth the money anyone pays for it.
I dunno, I think it deserves better than that, but to me a C+ is like...the end of my life (and no I'm not an over-achiever, I don't think anyway). I honestly don't think it is that big though. BUT in all fairness, I don't have any other mods to compare it to. To each his own!
that was a awesome video i want one! and like always i love to vape with ya while watching ur reviews but my drops are in the car! loved the review but didnt get to vape with you....till next time keep it up! and like always keep vapeing
@GrimmGreen Nick, your review of the SB is spot on. This is my second mod and the SB is so much better than the Prodigy V2. I'm using both 801 and 501 attys, prefer the 501 but it's not as forgiving as the 801 to sloppy dripping. To anyone considering getting a mod, you can't go wrong with the SB. Works every time.
Cool video! and i totally dig your reviews, initial and final reviews. As a side note , yes the mah (milliamp hours) is the meeasure of electric charge the batteries hold, so the higher the number the longer they last between charge. Rock on dude!
hey GrimmGreen i was just wondering , do altsmoke.com ship international such as to australia ?

Ok Grimm you've thrown a curve ball so I gota ask another question:
The AW 18650 Protected is 2900mAh and The AW IMR 18650 is 1600mAh
Besides the color what's the diference? Because obviously I'm thinking the 2900mAh would be better.

Which battery do you perfer on the silver bullet:
1) AW 18650 Protected 2900 mAh
or the one it comes with
2) AltSmoke - Ultra Fire 18650 XSL 2600mAh Battery

I get more consistent vapor dripping liquid into my NJOY pro atomizer and useing the small low volt batter that starter kit came with. The silver Bullet burns up or clogs atomizers within a day or 2, it sucks!
jackandcokeyummy 1 year ago
@jackandcokeyummy i assure you i this is not a paid advertisement in any way. This is actually my buddies Silverbullet that he lent me for a few days to try out. i liked it so much i got one for myself , and it has been easily one of the best PV's i have ever had.
GrimmGreen 1 year ago
another jack wad blowing vapor into a beam of light, of course it looks epic you dumb ass. The silve bullet is a huge waste of money
jackandcokeyummy 1 year ago
@jackandcokeyummy wow... sorry you feel that way, not sure what you meant by the "beam of light" thing but ok. I have had great success with my silver bullet, As a quick pro tip you should NEVER be using low resistance atomizers at 6v. i'm surprised that they even lasted you a day before dying.

@jackandcokeyummy burn out your atty completely? is that how you clean your attys dude? when you dry fire your attys like that you burn the wick inside the coil and it wont suck juice as good as they did when they were brand new. theres your problem when using yur silver bullet, your using burnt out garbage attys. and LR attys are to be used at 3.7v to simulate 6volts. get yourself some new attys and dont burn um', always keep them wet, good luck.

i got the 6v SB mod, it`s totally crazy, wow the vapor crazy! i love it. the hit i makes is wild
stjernevild 1 year ago
@stjernevild yea then after 2 day the atomozers are burnt out or clogegd cause you gotta use soo much liquid to fuel the 6volt batteries so the attys clog or they burn out, the SB is a huge waste of money

Hey Grimmgreen I just ordered my sb . IT's my first high volt pv and I don't know if the hot spring is something i need or even what it dose. I only got the 18650 battery cause altsmoke didn't sell any others. i did order a hot spring just in case i do need it but idk. also do you know a good battery vender where i can get some rcr123a's so i can rock this baby at 6 volts.
thanks,
ZIGGY

@zspigett i usually use Battery Junction , some pretty good deals on the LIFEPO4 RCR123a batteries

DJbizzum 1 year ago
Hey Grimmgreen I was wondering about the silver bullet running at 6 volts. I have the batteries for the prodigy v2 but they are much smaller than the tube of the SB. Would i have to get a rounder battery? Or do you know where i can purchase the batteries to make it 6 volts? Thanks.
oldspice4444 1 year ago
@oldspice4444 so the V2 and the SB use the same batteries , the LiFePO4 CR123a batteries , the yellow ones. The SB can also use the blue protected Tenergy 123a batteries , but those will not fit in the V2 , confusing right? i have also heard from bunches of people that the SB runs closer to 5v than 6v no matter what batteries you end up using.
GrimmGreen 1 year ago
Hey Whats Up GrimmGreen,
I went on altsmoke and was going to buy the silver bullet but there was no charger for the batteries at all . I cant find a charger for the silver bullet anywhere . Im definitely not going to buy it without a charger ! lol . Can you get back to me and let me know where to get the charger .
Thanks GrimmGreen
brad4179 1 year ago
puresmoker(dot)com off the top of my head carries the same batteries and charger that work in the SB , they also work in the Prodigy V2. the 18650 for 3.7v vaping doesn't work in the V2 , i got a few of those from DealXtreme , slow slow shipping , but good prices.

You remind me of Seth Green :O
Btw, I bought my silver bullet because of your video, thanks! Haven't touched an analog for a week!

I now only use my SB at 6v to bring life back into weaker attys - they come back to life and perform excellently :-) I think the SB is a very quality device, but find at 3.7v my SD MKI 510 seems to perform better. The SB at 6v is very thirsty and was hard to keep wet - I am very pleased to say that the zFm seems to really perform well and is the 1st cart mod that keeps the atty wet :-)
capt12b 2 years ago
Is it me or do you also get that nasty taste at the end of the vaped liquid. i removed the bridge in my 510 atty and i still get that nasty taste. Have you gotten that prob too? Oh yeah and i do have a Silver bullet, actually the black version. Its awesome!!!
vapinjuicexx00 2 years ago
at 6v.. you GOTTA keep that atty wet wet wet.
GrimmGreen 2 years ago
Great review and thank you for the heads up but.....I think you just convinced me to stay away from a 6v device. As you say, these 5v and 6v devices need more juice. One of the main reasons I got into vaping (other than health concerns) was also to save money, and I don't know what other people consider heavy vaping but, if I do 3 drips for 4-5 puffs then repeat, given where the prices of some e-juice is at (it's only gonna go up) I would be vaping about $30/day! Peace!
JR1068 1 year ago
yeah , even the heviest of vapers really only vape about 10mls of juice per week. Figure 30mls of juice from china is around $10. not bad... even if you vape more and round up it's still probably only $20 per month in juice... lot cheaper than my old $16 a week on cigarettes
GrimmGreen 1 year ago
Your numbers don't add up. Check the lastest Poll at ECF "How much liquid do you use in a day?" and of this post 65% of vapers polled are using at least twice the amount you are saying that "even the heaviest of vapers really only vape about 10mls of juice per week" So in conclusion, at this rate and at most USA made juice prices it's much closer to $100 a/month. HV
JR1068 1 year ago
so even if people are using 20mls a week. that's 80mls per month.
GrimmGreen 1 year ago
@JR1068 Did you say 10mls of juice per week would be closer to $100 a month?
I dunno where you buy your juice from, but that's alot for just 10 a week.
I think YOUR numbers are the ones that don't add up....
rbass311 1 year ago
@JR1068 I vape pretty heavy, about 12-13 ml's a week. I DIY my own juice and it costs me about $3.00 for 10 ml's of 25 mg/ml juice. So, lets round up to 20 ml's per week, which would be $6.00, compared to the carton a week i used to smoke, which cost me $39.14 per week. Thats an extra $33-ish per week that i can spend on booze and porn!!

Hi Grimm,
I've got the Silver Bullet and it's awesome!
Smoke2Vape 2 years ago
NICE! yeah the silverbullet is an awesome device.

VAPE ON!
no1garbologist 2 years ago
yep , i have 3.7v devices for that exact reason , same goes for black tea juice with me. LOVE it at 3.7v..
GrimmGreen 2 years ago
Hey Nick: So, I just recieved my silver bullet today and was wondering if there is a good juice to vape at 6-volts. It seems to me that at 6-volts the flavor seems to get distorted or destroyed. Any thoughts? Keep up the great vids!
no1garbologist 2 years ago
Yeah , some of my juices also get flavor distorted at 6v. my Marlboro as well as fly-cured and Riskee perform very well at 6v. The new eliquidplanet usa made juice perform awesome at 6v. I find juice with a delicate flavor like black tea , or vanilla get killed at 6v.
GrimmGreen 2 years ago
Hey Nick: I am thinking about getting a silver bullet for 6-volt use. All of my stuff is 901. Can I get a S.B. for a 901? The site is unclear to me on what to order. Any thoughts on what to order? Thanks Bro!
no1garbologist 2 years ago
yeah the SB comes as a 510 by default , you will need to get a 510 to 901 adapter. They are under the PV PARTS category.

u should do a comparison for the sb and the chuck
I have a bb coming and i want a larger one for around the house
i am deciding between a sb or a chuck at this point
zammzammbamm 2 years ago
I own both, and both are great (even use the same batteries). In my opinion the SB is much more solid than the Chuck. I'm always worried I am going to break the switch on the Chuck... no worries of that on the SB.

C+? You didn't dig it that much? Judging by your vid I would have thought you would have given it @ least a B+ (IMO I'd give it an A but hey...). Most aesthetically pleasing to the eye, indestructible mechanical design (zero electrical flaws: button etc), 3.7 & 6V option, lengthy battery life & SICK vaper... what more is there?
nickyj1001 2 years ago
if it was a touch smaller it probably would have been a B+ ... i get that it's really sturdy and thick , but it's just a little to big for me , i have no problem taking mods out and around town... but really felt weird taking this one out. It vapes amazing
GrimmGreen 2 years ago
Damn Grim that silver bullet puts out a shitton of vapor. I might have to do a review of my chuck at 6v to try and top it. I might have to admit that you got me beat though, My cr123a's are in the mail for it
Hyperdeficit 2 years ago
nevermind.... found it in a post on altsmoke's forums on the e cig forums
disturbed1034 2 years ago
Neverthless, I think it's the 18650-- all weekend, no need for a usbpass, anywhere in the house, massive heft just throw it in your pockets (minus atty of course) without any need to worry about buttons, or anything fragile falling off --kind of vaping that puts the SB on top.
But alas, the BB is coming and I'd really like to see you do an AdapteveR review...6v out and about!

Haha... I knew you'd love the SB...great review all around!
Two things...those cr123s are good (and the company is excellent), but I have the same issue after about 4 hours. Tried some Soshine and AW's w/ lower "rated" mAh, but kick ass.
buGGchthonic 2 years ago
So when It comes down to it grimm if a guy is lookin at the prodigy vs SB where you going to steer them if they wanna stay under 6v?
greenlight75 2 years ago
under 6v? i would probably say get a BB or wait for the new Prodigy.
GrimmGreen 2 years ago
whats the BB??
disturbed1034 2 years ago
FYI...mAh stands for Milliamp Hour, a technical term for how much power a particular battery will hold
VaporScoop 2 years ago
Exactly, if a battery were a car engine, the voltage would be the horsepower and the mAh would be the size of the gas tank.

Your thoughts are mine exactly regarding 6 volt vaping Nick. I do almost feel spoiled and I hope it doesnt ruin my experience of my soon to have PS Protege.

Hey Nick,
Last night for the 1st time I tried the Blue Foam plug mod for the 510 cart -Have you heard of this?.

You have just experienced the SBgasm! LOL
cxiong3 2 years ago
The biggest reason for the SB's size is because of the switch. 90% of that switch is inside the body, it's HUGE. The Prodigy V1 is MUCH thinner, just wide enough to take an 18650 and it's thin-walled, however the switch is tiny and isn't rated for nearly as many clicks... So it's kind of a toss-up.
Steve has hinted that the V2 will be even smaller, being 5v-only with a mouth activated switch (like the copper) with a low likelihood of failure... We'll see.
Just my 2 cents... Great review!
ChefChris47 2 years ago
@ChefChris47 yeah i will say the switch is friggin great , that makes more sense. Thanks for the comment boss , i always appreciate your input
GrimmGreen 2 years ago
I'm really looking forward to the V2... Right now the Prodigy is my one-stop shop, it'd be nice to make it my backup device so I can finally give the chinese batteries to someone else. I know I'll never get a 3.7v device again.. The Prodigy V1 is small enough and despite the lack of a recessed switch, since it takes pressure to activate it never goes off in my pocket accidentally.
mgrimes73 2 years ago
Hey Nick: So, is there a smaller 6-volt pv. on the market that is highly portable that you are thinking about getting. What would you recomend. For me the holy grail would be 6-volts, highly portable and great batterie life. Is there such a thing? Thanks for the great vids! Later!
no1garbologist 2 years ago
Great review, this will be my next purchase based on your response. And I'd say in about 75% of all your reviews one could definitely say after each sentence that's what she said. May be immature but is still true.

I wanna see you do a review of a chuck sometime Nick, or a chuck vs silver bullet video.
P3rplexity 2 years ago
unfortunately this SB was just a loaner , i have sent it back to the proper owner , so i can't do a side by side.
GrimmGreen 2 years ago
ahh no worries, i'm sure i'll be plenty satisfied with my chuck comin in, just curious.
P3rplexity 2 years ago

Awesome Review!
jmiecan 2 years ago
ha ha... hey a C+ is better than i ever did in school , it's a great device don't get me wrong. The size is really the deal breaker for me. I think this is well worth the money anyone pays for it.
GrimmGreen 2 years ago
I dunno, I think it deserves better than that, but to me a C+ is like...the end of my life (and no I'm not an over-achiever, I don't think anyway). I honestly don't think it is that big though. BUT in all fairness, I don't have any other mods to compare it to. To each his own!

it is still on my radar for sure , i'm looking to get a 6v device , and the SB was bad ass
GrimmGreen 2 years ago
@GrimmGreen Nick, your review of the SB is spot on. This is my second mod and the SB is so much better than the Prodigy V2. I'm using both 801 and 501 attys, prefer the 501 but it's not as forgiving as the 801 to sloppy dripping. To anyone considering getting a mod, you can't go wrong with the SB. Works every time.
unclepervy666 1 year ago
Cool video! and i totally dig your reviews, initial and final reviews. As a side note , yes the mah (milliamp hours) is the meeasure of electric charge the batteries hold, so the higher the number the longer they last between charge. Rock on dude!
