Okay, you stopped frapsing at the most interesting point. The atk spd. does not influence your casting time (the little line going on while casting) BUT your motion will be quicker after the line finishes. This causes that you'll fire the spell earlier and it gives the feeling that you're faster. That's why mage weps sometimes give Atk Spd. The best when a mage wep has Cast spd + Akt spd. bonus.
