Hi, do you heat your pond during the winter and do you think that there is a correct temperature to keep the pond at during the winter season? Let me know please.

@Nsx25 The pond is heated, As to a correct temp, there are many schools of thought. My thoughts are, a stable temp is much more suitable, as fluctuations in temp are stressful to Koi. I keep my pond at 50deg f during the winter months and it only flutuates between 49.9deg f to 50.1 deg f . so is a very stable pond.

Hi, It is a koi pond, Koi Ponds do not have plants.Koi love to eat green vegitation.

How deep is the pond? And how many fish are in it?

@grenadeserenade ----- Pond is 6 foot 6 inches deep. there are approx 100 koi in it.

@klassickoi Sounds like a great pond. Judging by your profile picture, you must have a shiba inu as well. I have both a koi pond and a shiba too :)
