These two ladies had good voices and spite of their sucess as a duo they just never dented the charts which like all actsa that were part of the best session players that [played bnehiond their records. They may had made as folk performers in the Minstrels but they very much showed their true talents being a duo group.
Thanks again for posting this version. The Mandolph is superb, but oddly even though I had the Dusty OOOOOWWWEEE!! lp, I don't remember her version! Maybe that's why the song seemed familiar when hearing the Mandolph version. Titelman wrote terrific songs in the mid-60s such as this and "What am i gonna do with you" and the Cookies "I never dreamed". From this to Van Halen?
