I thought this movie was going to be really silly and stupid, but it turned out to be very touching and has a really good moral story in it. I cried at the end.

The trailer makes you think of something like KickAss, (which by the way is a great movie too) but when I watched it... after the first 20 minutes or so, all the fun was gone... the film became serious... It works because of the super hero theme, but it also shows how great actors can pull of sub par scripts on paper and still give the movie what it needs to get the viewer into its world and still be believable.
While the movie itself is a dark comedy and the main character is slightly slow upstairs it still involves something we all can relate to and that is the feeling of "being somebody". I recommend giving this movie a watch to be honest.

i really like when the movie surprises me like this one. Although this was limited release it was better than lot of wide released films. This was excellent storytelling, Woody did a great job and was very convincing, and story about redarted kid who is trying to get revenge on mobster that led his mother into death really grows on your heart and that makes this movie wonderful because he's seeing everything through child's eyes.
Yeah, the ending is sad, but justice won after all.
It was fun , it was funny , it had a good mix of realism , and a good cast with great performances , and it made you care for this guy who only could see the world in black and white [good or bad]. I was totally surprised how much I enjoyed this film.

Though fantastical at times, the story was told well enough to allow for suspension of disbelief; the magic tricks are fun, but the story really draws the viewer in. It is really nice movie to see on kookíca. So dont wait, come and enjoy it.

Why was this movie released in theatres ? this movie deserves to be taken off shelves permanantly. There was not one scene in this that was worth watching. Kick-Ass tokk a shit on this movie flushed it down the toilet, plunged the toilet only to shit it on it again and again. Defendor ... plain and simple, just sucks so much ass.

This movie is a stupid script with great actors.
It works because of the super hero theme, but it also shows how great actors can pull of sub par scripts on paper and still give the movie what it needs to get the viewer into its world and still be believable.
While the movie itself is a dark comedy and the main character is slightly slow upstairs it still involves something we all can relate to and that is the feeling of "being somebody". I recommend giving this movie a watch to be honest.

A movie that completely amazed me.
I watched it, having heard nothing about it, thinking "oh well, prolly some goofy superhero parody ..."
Man, was I pleasantly surprised!
This is a movie I recommend for everyone to watch, Harrelson finally gets to show off his acting skills, the movie has a greap script, it's fun, it's sad, it's romantic ... and man is it dark.

i really like when the movie surprises me like this one. Although this was limited release it was better than lot of wide released films. This was excellent storytelling, Woody did a great job and was very convincing, and story about redarted kid who is trying to get revenge on mobster that led his mother into death really grows on your heart and that makes this movie wonderful because he's seeing everything through child's eyes.
Yeah, the ending is sad, but justice won after all.

It was fun , it was funny , it had a good mix of realism , and a good cast with great performances , and it made you care for this guy who only could see the world in black and white [good or bad]. I was totally surprised how much I enjoyed this film.
