How did you get the runway textures to disappear?

I completely delete the default airport.bgl data from FSX using freeware software called Airport Design Editor... The default FSX runway textures are really terrible. I add in new objects with freeware software called Whisplacer... you can add new objects in real time into FSX. Everything in this video is true satellite imagery of the actual airport and surrounding area. Take care...

Im in love with your presentations of TileProxy. I recently installed it myself but cant get it to work. when I try to load a flight, it gets stuck at at around 40% on loading terrain and never loads? I have a really fast internet connection. do u use yahoo maps for yours? Thanks and keep up the great work!

Thanks. I encourage you to read the TileProxy FAQ... it should get you where you want to be with TileProxy. I am no TileProxy guru... the combination of a quad core cpu, a strong video card (Nvidia 8800GTX), fast Internet connection and 10,000 rpm hard drive seem to work pretty well.

1) Turn off your antivirus software prior to starting TileProxy

2) Download the latest proxyuser.ini file available on the Internet, and use that instead of the default.

3) In FSX settings, set your LOD radius to small or medium... but never large

4) Make sure your TileProxy is saving earth tiles on a hard drive different from that of your FSX install. On my computer TileProxy saves to my F: drive.

Thanks a bunch. I am working hard on the soundtracks... actually, my goal is to complete twelve to fifteen good soundtracks over a period of about a year... it is a personal goal. For me, the vids and imagery are secondary.

Hi, thanks for the positive comments. If you have trouble finding the Alphajet repaint for FSX, I should be able to find it for you. As far as creating views in FSX, I will think about making a video tutorial.  It is simple to do, but not so simple to explain in a comment here. Take care

I think that would be a great help for many people if you get the time to do it. Id like to attempt a video myself maybe with the skysim hawk... il have to find tile proxy first i think, iv always been put off as im a fast jet fan but it doesn't seem to stop you so worth a try i think.
