  • Nothing but Respect

  • Good job. Now keep the party going!

  • R E S P E C T ! ! !

  • jeremy yost is the man

  • Haha not Brooklyn mate! I used to be a paramedic and know what would have come to you soon if you had'nt have lost all that weight mate. Take care fella

  • Absolutely fantasic effort mate!! As you probably know you would have been dead in 5-10 yrs no doubt. OMG diabetes and the such were imminent, then DEAD!! Massive respect for your video and openness mate. Long may you enjoy your new life and happiness all your hard work brings. Big up from Cleggy UK

  • @clegsta42 You sound like you are from Brooklyn lol, just kidding.

  • DUDUE SO PROUND OF YOU IVE BEEN IN REALLY GOOD SHAPE MY WHOLE LIFE SO I REALLY NEVER FELT YOUR PAIN. I DO HOWEVER KNOW THE BENEFITS TO BEING THINER AND WHY WOULDNT ANYONE WANT THAT SO MUCH. NOT TO SOUND GAY BUT LOSING THAT WEIGHT CHANGED YOUR FACE IN A HUGE WAY. I BET YOUR GIRL LOVES IT. GOOD FOR YOU KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. MY SISTER HAD SKIN CUT OFF HER BELLY AND SHE WAS ONLY OUT OF COMISSION FOR LIKE 4 WEEKS

  • Dude ur an inspiration to us all im thinking of starting the p90X. but what equipment would I need for it so that Im prepared to start as soon as possible can anyone answer?

  • @yawzahman you need a dumbbell set, or some resistance bands (but I reccomend dumbbells), you need a chair, a pull up bar, you could use some push up handles (they'll help with doing different forms of push ups), a yoga mat would be nice too. That's about it really.

  • sadly i found regaining most of the weight eliminated my excess skin issues

  • Do your self a favor, get a tummy tuck with lipo together, this will help you on avoiding get fat again.... A doctor told me that if i had done a lipo after I lost almost 60 kilos, I would not get as fat as I was before....

  • he said it was due to the fat cells, that when you loose woight those cells remains in the body (in shrink) just waitting to be full again... and if you go a lipo, those cells are gone and it will get much more hard to gain weight again

  • Good stuff, you're truly an inspiration to us all

  • Now i dont mean to sound rude but im kinda scared now i dont want to end up with excess skin like that was it because he started out at 375 lb that it ended like dat? I only weigh 209lb will i get e cess skin?

  • your skin looks GREAT to have lost 180lbs! Did you eat a lot of fruits & vegtables to lose the weight? I heard raw foods help with the skin.

  • congrats man

  • eeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwww thats nasty brohem, its called a tummy tuck

  • Have you considered smartlipo? its not the same as regular lipo because some doctors are using it to tighten lose skin as they remove fat (you've already lost the fat offcouse). Anyways I'm curious if you looked in to this option because i've seen some videos in which patients opted for smart lipo and got good results without having tummy tuck or surgical removal of extra skin. Swimming while losing a lot of weight is also supposed to tighten skin. Good luck and congrats on great results

  • If you keep the current weight, it will go away.It can take a couple of years though.

  • man you motivate me to lose weight

  • Comment removed

  • You did an amazing job and a little excess skin isn't a big deal. You look awesome! I've wondered myself if I could get rid of my horribly stretched out stomach skin without surgery...guess I'll find out!

  • Hey Jeremy, first off I wanted to say thanks for being such a huge inspiration to so many people. Secondly I wanted to ask you a question, I ordered p90x and am waiting for it in the mail, and my biggest concern has always been pull-ups. Most if not all of my weight problems center around my stomach, and the extra weight makes it very difficult for me to do them. What kind of exercises did you substitute for them while you built up to them? Would really appreciate the insight.

  • @iminthecrowd1 Hi! I'm doing P90X right now. At my second week. I don't have the strength to do pull ups either but in P90X there are tons of options you can do. Instead of pull-ups, you're told to get bands on the pull up bar and kneel on one knee in front of the pull up bar while pulling on the band. This should build up the strength in your shoulders and arms to get you to the point where you can do a proper pull up. Hope this helps.

  • Hi pal... sorry to ask... but you did take some drugs... or just trainin'?

Sorry for my poor english... and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

  • u could do wonders with that skin buddy burn hospitals will take that skin off for free to put on the kids who get burned

  • great job man, that is a good theory about muscle gain to lift the skin. Whatever you do, don't do a bulking diet. I did and gained weight rapidly. Although I bulked up, It threw me off track. Try to maintain whatever your doing as far as diet goes. Maybe try heavier weights or more reps. But stick to diet because it is crazy hard to get that discipline back once you break it.

  • WOW! that is crazy - amazing I don't think I have seen that amount of weight lost with that little amount of skin, but I don't know if more muscle will lift the skin.. I mean you are already super ripped

  • u look difrent bro :)

congratulation i am the next like you ..

now i just 85 kilo and higt 181 cm, i just wanna lost 13 kg :)

i hope i can six pack, :) aminn

  • congratulations on your weight loss and health improvement. I commend your commitment and your decision not to opt for surgery- you look great!

  • you may have some excess skin but your still cut and look great - seriously I would think the first thought that people looking at you would be " he's cut and looks healthy as all get out" you're a great inspiration - congrats!!!!

  • @billoakesattablthree Thanks, man!

  • @JeremyYost1 Great Vid man! I eat no gluten and dairy, and drink lots of Raw Juice, it helps alot!

  • Just curious, how long did it take to lose the 187. If it was too rapid, would that had made a difference?

  • @Raider120164 I lost the weight in 270 days. Most sources I've seen said if you limit it to 1-2 lbs a week, the condition of the skin should be better. I lost it much faster so I would tend to think that it would've been better. All things being equal, that would've been a better approach but I was fighting for my life (so to speak) and overcoming all my bad habits so it was hard to "pace" myself once I started to see results.

  • @JeremyYost1 You are too awesome for words. I can't even tell you how inspirational you are. Keep it up. Stay healthy and be happy, man.

  • hey jeremy i just wanted to say that you can get rid of the the loose skin by just keep toning your abs until its completely muscle

  • 3rd part to below...

During meditation my nerves rerouted around the injury to feed my lungs once again. I felt this happening. It was an electric and painful process that took a few hours. You Jeremy know how powerful you are. That's why I commented on your post. Im very healthy and not overweight. but I recognize inspiration. You inspire. So you know yourself so much because of what you did with you body. Know that there are NO limits. NONE. if you can imagine it you can do it.

  • 2nd part to below...

Its like this, there is no denying any more that we are energy. not matter. Matter is the illusion. The physicists tell us this. The sages tell us this. So I meditated knowing this. All sorts of things came out of meditation for me. I used t wear glasses. not anymore. I fixed it. And I was aware of how it happened. I had a bad car accident on of my lungs would exhale much faster than the other.

  • This might not be what you expected. but its the only answer I have for anything. Meditate. I found vipasana meditation in 2001. And became a serious student forever, instantly. There is no info on the technique that i described. It was a spontaneous learning that happened to me. Know thy self. All the great sages across all religions say the same thing know thy self. I learned why they say this from my own adventures inward. All is Mind. All is Thought.

    Its like this....

  • @jeremyyost1

Would you recommend the Shakealogie(sp) or the P90X drink mix for someone just starting out on the P90X? Im 370lbs, and would like to drop to 200lbs. You're a huge inspiration to me. Thank you for your time.

  • @joelduval1 Thank you!! Hands down, Shakeology. I used it and continue to use it daily. The recovery drink is good and I use it after most resistance workouts. But especially for the goal of losing weight, Shakeology.

  • part 2 to below..... I would stretch the area by leaning back one way or another this way or that, extending the area of excess skin then trying to get my mind into the muscles that would pull that area. The movements were very subtle. Anyway that's what I did but I did not have as much to deal with. I know that as with micro is with macro. That's a universal fact. Thank you so much for sharing. And thank you you tube I love you.

  • @TheArtoftheheart Thanks for sharing...that's pretty interesting! Where can I find more info on what you're describing?

  • @JeremyYost1 Forgive my being new to all this if I make a mistake, but I think you would be able to improve the loose skin on the front by building abnormaly large lower back muscles, thereby "pulling" skin from the front to house those new increased back muscles (Like apron strings). Would that work? To do it, you probably need to do some bizarre position of exercise, like hanging upside on a bar by the back of your knees (like Rocky Balboa) but doing the opposite of his "sit ups".

  • so inspiring. I had excess skin after being pregnant. You must get your mind into it. Gain control of your ab muscles so much the you can start to role your stomach like a yogi. Learn fine motor skill. Then you can pull minute area with individual muscles of you stomach. Its so fun to play with.

  • Wow!! I need to loose 80 pounds sounds imposible but now that I saw this I can do it!!

  • @imeldina88 Thanks! It is and you CAN!!

  • Can you tell me what you eat?

  • @kingofquestion I eat whole grains, vegetables, fruits and vegetables, and lean protein. I was replace one meal a day with Shakeology.

  • @JeremyYost1 but what do eat at dinner and breakfast , like a toast with what.

  • @JeremyYost1 I wanted to ask you about if your mental health got better too. I have the opposite problem, I am too skinny and weak, but I think I suffer for a lack of demotivation, I am kind of depressed-lazy. Did you start to have more positive thoughs or it's basically the same as before?

  • @TheAlphafly Absolutely, it got better! As I was able to do more of the workout, my confidence grew. As the results continued, my thoughts and overall outlook on life got better as well. The "mental" transformation definitely lagged behind the physical transformation but it eventually happened.

  • @kingofquestion Breakfast-Shakeology, Snack 1-6 hard boiled egg whites, Lunch-Baked chicken, broccoli, quinoa, Snack 2-Apple+almonds, Snack 3-Protein shake, Dinner-Grilled chicken salad, egg white omelet, or chicken & veggies. This is a typical day. I'll mix in some other lean meats (turkey or fish) every now and then.

  • @JeremyYost1 Thanks now i know what i must eat :D :) thx much <3

  • Considering your amount of weight loss you really don't look all that bad! I lost close to 80 lbs via a different method and the excess skin bothered me at first and maybe being female it might be a tad more emotional? In the end I opted against surgery too and counted my blessings that something finally clicked with me where I could wrap my brain around following a healthier path.. phew, not always easy! It all comes down to a choice (including happiness) and I think you look fantastic! :-)

  • @MsHappyShine Thank you! I think we agree completely...yeah, I'd love to have a tight stomach but the benefits of living a healthier life SOOO outweigh the alternative that I was faced with.

  • @levantm Thanks!!

  • Full of EPIC WIN! :D - you're so inspiring!

  • @Misstongshil Thanks!!

  • you are obviously living for your kids and the skin is cosmetic. your kids and trust me they don't care. Bravo! the skin is a reminder of a bad part of your life you never want to go back to! Very proud of you!

  • Dude you are amazing! I am planning to start my journey very soon. Im about 250 pounds 6ft2, doctor here in UK told me that I was "fine" and that Im just "big built" and its just the way I am (what a joke). I hope that I can be the same sucess as you dude...and dont worry about a little bit of skin, thats nothing campared to what you had before. Thanks a lot for sharing this with us Jeremy!

  • this guys a beast haha... great job man

  • im getting this workout program as soon as i get the cash next week to fund it..... i gained 30 kilos from chemo therapy and im embarassed with myself... i use to be lean and very athletic and fit.... now im 130 kilos where i was once 90 kilos.... people like you are an inspiration to everyone wanting to lose weight.... your journey and your video will most likely inspire hundreds of thousands of people to do the same. great work on your amazing transformation.

  • all I can say is well done n congrats! Keep it up!

  • All I can say is well done and congrats! N keep it up!

  • You look amaizing bro good for you

  • THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

I really appreciate seeing your excess skin. I have a similar amount of weight to lose and your excess skin doesn't look nearly as bad as I thought it would. I guess the strength training and muscle building is what minimizes the excess skin.

You are truly an inspiration and I suspect that your videos will wind up saving some people's lives by motivating them to lose the weight.

  • @mcjon77 Thanks! Good luck to you!!

  • It's all about making that personal decision for yourself and well being. You choose not to have the surgery, ok, that's you. Would I have the surgery? Yes, I would but that's me. I certainly would do it if the doctors could use my excess skin and "recycle" it to help maybe burn victims. I don't know, I'm no plastic surgery expert. Nontheless, BIG CONGRATS to you Jeremy on reaching these milestones. I wish you all the best with your new "fit lifestyle." Thanks for posting this video reply

  • you´re hot

  • eww your belly looks like nuts!

  • U should look up "impatient dieter" on here and she has video about lotions that tighten up ur skin . 1 is called msm lotion and the other i forget.its like dmso or something but ppl raved about it on amazon ! u should try it!

  • @bristay1 those lotions dont work,no lotion works, only surgery, that should be fairly obvious.Hes a sensible man not to get surgery though,I would have expected a huge amount of excess skin but its moderate.

  • My uncle had this after he lost about 80lbs. They were able to greatly reduce it to almost nothing by doing this laser procedure. Might want to check it out.

Congrats on your work, you kicked ass, man.

  • Inspiring stuff. But sadly, your abs won't increase in size enough to stretch the skin back out. If you have excess skin elsewhere, it's a far more likely aim.

Life leaves its mark on your body. I wouldn't be ashamed that I was once that fat, that I still had the same skin. I'd celebrate the loss of the weight instead.

    You did an incredible thing.

  • hey man, i watched the video and i was thinking, can't you lose that excess skin by working on that part of the body more, like doing ab workouts and running more...?

  • I need to show this video to a guy I know online. He lost something like over 200lbs through a different weight loss method, which escapes me at the moment, but he is incredibly embarrassed by his excess skin. I'm going to try and convince him to do P90X. I think your theory is a good one, the more muscle you build the more your skin could recover.

  • im 5'9'' and weight about 270 lbs i have recently lost 10 lbs within the last 3 weeks my goal is to be in the 190's or less how can i avoid loose skin can anyone help with the answer thank you

  • Incredible man, congratulations. That took a tremendous amount of dedication and you should be very proud.

  • I'm really impressed with your skin after your amazing transformation. I would have assumed you would have had way more than that. You really have done something incredible. Nice abs.

  • how did you legs feel im 300lbs and need to start this but my legs are always sore and tired

  • You are a HUGE inspiration to me, im sitting at 310 lbs with three kids that i cant keep up with. I would like to be able to go do things with my wife and family and I just dont have the energy. I, because of your story, have decided to put myself out there and start p90x today. I am SO tired of being tired! Your site is going to help me through the hardest part, starting. Thanks again.

  • TY this answered all my questions and i am happy that you lost all that weight and improved your quality of life

  • i had the exact same story as u. I'm ripped now but i had lots of excess skin. all i did was moisturise. with any type of cream. keep ur ody moisturised day and night. my excess skin took about 1month to go away

  • Excess Skin is due to some fat still hanging on.. it can be reduce if you keep working out..

  • Trust me. after 2 years of excess skin. its gets better if you keep strength training and muscle building.

  • @WasntLag Thanks!

  • @JeremyYost1 at first i started serious dieting, lost about 15 pounds in a month, that wasn't fast enough for me (regret it, wasn't patient at all), so i started doing lots of cardio and tried a self made regimen. after about 5 months i lost 50 pounds in total, but had some excess skin. after about 2 years of maintaining my diet and continuing regular exercising my excess skin started to tighten back up. its not perfect but DEFINITELY got better :)

  • GREAT JOB

  • @vl0velyb Thanks!!

  • You're so cool for doing this, Jeremy. Removing loose skin involves painful stiches that have to be removed, as well as you getting a new navel, and, it taking nearly a year w/ you wearing a girdle, waiting for the swelling to go down. There's so many options now w/ male shapewear becoming the new normal. You look great, keep it up..be careful not to start new bad habits!

  • @a5b9 Yeah, not into all that :) Thanks!!

  • Hi Jeremy, I'm currently doing P90X and I started off at 350 and I am now at 283. I was wondering If you had any excess skin on the bicep/tricep area. Thanks

  • @3addam62 Congrats on your weight loss!! Awesome! I have a little if you pinch in that area you can tell but it doesn't sag at all there.

  • Also jeremy ive heard swimming tightens up and pulls skin in. By the way congradulations on the weight loss man lookin ripped

  • @NeverGiveIn21 Thanks, man!

  • Your my HERO Jeremy.

  • @GILakaGP3 Thanks, bro!

  • Strange the skin doesn't show in the tranformation picture is the skin noticeable when you walk around ? and also when you first started p90x were you able to do all the exercises or only some if them Oh and great job losing the weight

  • @s2mar33 When I first started, many of the workouts I couldn't do half of the moves. I would just march in place and keep moving. Eventually, I could at least due the modifications they were doing on the DVD. Thanks!

  • You didn't have as much excess skin as I thought for 180 lbs, which means you prolly lost the weight more slowly and the right way. I do have some loose skin, as I've gradually lost 120 lbs. And I'm a bit self conscious of stretch marks, but in a way kinda proud of them. You're ripped and you're doing great!!!

  • @whatuwantme2b328 Thanks, bro and congrats to you!!

  • What are the nutrition things that helped you get to your goal?

  • @marandamam I'll send you a link from my blog that explains it. I followed the P90X nutrition plan but did some things to make it easier for me.

  • Im going through the same process but after watching this youve got me decided on just busting my butt and working harder instead of surgey

  • @LagoVistaLodge79 Awesome!! There's is so much more to being fit than how you look. If the skin goes away, great, if not, so what?? It's about how you feel and the energy you bring to the rest of your life. The truth is when you're at the beach or the pool, no one cares how you look cuz all they're thinking about is how they look.

  • Hey, good job on all the weight loss. my question is I have some stretch marks on my belly and near my armpit. Will that go away when I lose weight i'm about 300 pounds. Thank you for all your help :)

  • @NuklearEZ They will be less apparent (not be redish or discolored), but they will probably still remain. Think of them as "battle-scars." :)

  • this may have been asked but how tall are you? I am trying to lose 140 at 6'1 with a wide frame and I am young. Looking at the amount of loose skin you have I think is gives me some hope.

  • @Able24h I'm only 5'9". The body is an amazing thing. Lift heavy & eat clean and you'll be fine.

  • you lost all your weight from p90x???

  • @kittybookitty Yes, all P90X. Nothing more.

  • Ive been drinking lots of water, eatting almonds and avocado and wheat germ oil, maybe that would help?? i also use fog soap, its a vitamin e soup thats pretty sweet.

  • @swapREEByumyum It's hard to say what elements of my nutrition helped with the excess skin but I did eat a lot of almonds & avocados as well. They are excellent fat sources, as you know. I would have to say that you can't go wrong with what you're doing.

  • Thanks, Jeremy. I got a lot out of that and your vid answered and addressed this question better than any other I found on the subject anywhere. Keep on keepin' on!

  • @FredaPeeple Thanks, Freda! I'm glad it helped!!

  • man oh man...i cant tell you how scared i am...i am still in your past. what i mean by that is that i am here where i am over 400 and i am scared. i dont want the excess skin but i do need and want to lose weight. i have decided that i wont let that stop me from losing i just want to find a way to reduce or eliminate excess skin as i lose...any suggestions? some guy said something about binding during the loss process?

  • @THEELITEONE I really didn't do anything "special" for the potential skin. Now, I did use one of those fat trimmer belts. I used them because I couldn't stand the feeling of the skin bouncing. I don't believe that it helped reduce the skin (because that isolated just to one area) but I just wanted to be clear.

  • It's Carmen...I just did the webinar with you & juan & man oh man!!! You are such an inspiration to me right now! I'm feeling so...lifted!! I was worried about the loose skin I will have but I'm sure it would be a small thing compared to all the benefits that go along with this type of transformation. I did learn through past experience that I can almost completely eliminate the loose skin by binding during the weight loss process we'll see. Stay blessed and continue being such an inspiration!

  • @OFFICIALLEXXILUTHOR Thanks, Carmen!! Excited to have you part of the team!!

  • @OFFICIALLEXXILUTHOR binding? what do you mean by that?

  • way to go man, i get so tired of people saying that i only do p90x for looks. Yes, the results look great, but so does taking steroids. With p90x its about being the best overall person you can be. If anything, the excess skin is reminder to you of how far you have come, and for those who see it, they know you aren't just in amazing shape because of your genetics.

  • @cnash41 Well said, and thanks. The fat was going to kill me, the skin wasn't. You are so right about it being a reminder. I was at a health fair not too long ago where a lady said that my before pic was not me. I had to show her the loose skin before she believed...lol

  • I Did 3 Rounds of P90X Lean Routine. Afterwards I did 1 Round Of P90X Classic then i discovered that Plyo was no Joke. Started at 350 pounds now I'm 240 pounds. I lost a 110 pounds is it something that i can do after p90x just to maintain but not going at it for 6 days a week just to let my body recover more from the punishment it has taken over the past year.

  • @toneykospeter Awesome, man! Huge hats off to you!!

  • You don't need the surgery. You're handsome just the way you are.

  • @DeadwoodSD1876 Thanks!!

  • doesnt look bad and seems like its shrinking alot

  • Thanks for posting. Do you ever drink alcohol? It's like I can beat food, but gotta have some kinda drink or something once or twice a week. Alcoholic, no just social drinker. Lots of calories though, so it is scary.

  • @jargainjones No, not a moral decision or anything like that. The last time I did was at my 15 yr class reunion about a year and a half ago...wasn't pretty :) To be honest, I'd be more concerned with me eating crap if I had a beer or 2.

  • Congrats on your choice not to have surgery. Liking your positive philosophy.

  • @prancingkitty Thanks!!

  • yeah i started out at 400 pounds then i ate my way to 350 then i started p90x 11 months ago 3 rounds of lean and 1 round of classic nonstop still going on round im having the same problem as you with the lower abs im glad you made this video.

  • @toneykospeter Way to go, brother!! I know the discipline and perseverance you've brought to it. How much total weight have you lost?

  • did u find it more helpful to drink your whey protein before or after your workout

  • @Socomvet100 I didn't really experiment with taking it before my workout since I work out at 5 in the morning. I feel better working out on an empty stomach. Immediately after my workout, I have the recovery drink, then 45 min after my workout, I have Shakeology + extra whey (my breakfast).

  • @JeremyYost1 ic.... is the shakeology worth the price i thought about getting it but it i cant really justify 120 bucks without asking around first u know

  • @Socomvet100 I absolutely think so. Check out my post on jeremyyost*com under supplements/shakeology for my take and a doctors video. As far as the price, considering it's a month's supply and a meal replacement, it comes out to $4 a meal. There are some ways to save on it. Email me for details.

  • You are the man. Thanks for sharing this with us Jeremy. I'm in the same boat as you and will have excess skin. I will try to handle it the same way you did. Looking forward to your next video. Take care.

  • @IYUB30 Thanks!!

  • Jeremy I love your attitude!!! Thanks for these informative videos.

  • @CoachMobilityToday Thanks, bro!!

  • well dude i belive, that excess skin of yours. WILL in time go away..idk how it will.. but idk physics of the thing? it should go away over time.. great results btw
