Quick question....I'm looking for an AWD for winter driving since my 2011 GT isnt made for snow lol. How do I tell if it's a 1G, 2G? I might buy a 1999 GSX and was curious if i want to mod what to buy for it IE. (1G or 2G) parts.
im not 1 for body kits on my DSM but i LOVE that rear bumper, i would put that on mine if i new what kind it is ????? its different but still has a kinds stock look with a little bit of style and not rice lookin at all what kind is it? i want one
Ok well for starters this video is old as sh*t and this setup no longer exists, but to help you all out. this was a shake down run at the start of a race season. the car was burning rich. It was running 10's on pump gas, it kinda come with the territory. It was not burning oil. the loud bang at the beginning of the run was the car sitting on the two step launch control, which as stated before just helps build boost and launch the car at your desired rpm.
LoL, I wish I could learn about the huge world of turbocharged vehicles just by watching PINKs. What a fuckin homo!! This car is smokin that track just like it should. All high boost turbos burn a little oil because of the gigantic forces it deals with. And to the moron two comments below me, you only wish you could taste tens with your car. LoL
If you are talking about the poping right before he takes off it is 2 step/ launch control. Most likely dsmlink/ecmlink. It spools the turbo up before you launch.
usually a 4cyl in the 10's sounds like its screaming and is more dramatic. something about this run just doesn't have excitement that most cars that fast have
lol my buddy turns elevens on a 1g and all he did was upgrade the fuel pump, gut the body, injectors, ic piping. stock turbo, stock motor, stock intercooler, stock transmission. paid a grand for the car before mods.
Liquid frost, don't buy a dsm. U don't no the difference by a 1g or 2g..... That's the years. 1990-94 = 1g. 1995-99 = 2g
