  • Really nice Video.

I m sure there will be a lot more coming

    good luck

  • Why not bishop to d5 at 8:12?

  • Thanks very instructive.

  • Good game & commentary! English opening & monster bishop plus time to think about the game and the best moves with correspondence chess makes a big difference!

  • Very good, i ve learnt a lot from it.

  • nice instruction and cool game. Played like fischer!

  • pretty good game

  • Good video

  • like ballet

  • great play

  • i think english opening is weak opening for white :|

  • Any justification for that claim?

  • @croopaN - English Opening weak? Chess World Champions Gary Kasparov, Anatoly Karpov, Bobby Fischer, etc., don't agree. :)

  • at 5:05 when he play b6 did c6 was more stronger due thaqt block the bishop from coming on the big diaginal?

  • great play ! very dominant during the whole match and a well deserved win . congrats !

  • This is very instructive. I've always wondered how to coordinate 2 fianchettoed bishops in an attack, and thanks to Fat and Mad, I understand.

  • black could have defended at the end by moving his king to H7 that would of given white a little trouble

  • not really, because if Kh7, then white plays f6, with discovered check and wins the black knight

  • And if you are saying Kh7 after Ng8, then white can move the f pawn again and its really a lost position for black

  • really nice. I especially enjoyed the Rd6 finish-off, and the whole game actually taught me something about the value of patience in attack.

  • exciting game and instructive commentary, brilliant work, looks like kingscrusher has some competition !!

  • what chess game is that?

  • I think you didn't notice the rook on e8 james..!!!!!!!! awesome video...

  • lol sorry, im such an idiot

  • very nice video and good explanation. Just wondering , i probably missed something but how come at 8:13 you didn't play bishop d5 and pin the queen? if he blocked with the bishop then you could take with the rook. Thanks

  • I enjoyed your video very much. Very instructive. I hope you do some more. Could you tell me the ratings for Fat & Mad and Nekthen. I would appreciate it very much.

    Dave

  • I really liked the video and more so that you showed some variations of what could have happened. Keep up the good work

  • WIHUU!! "monster bishop" yeah! i'm a chess amateur and rather should be learning for my exam tomorrow but your videos just pin me to my chair. seriously, i feel like a pinned knight! its both thrilling and scaring :D

    thanks for your vid!!

  • Cool video!!

  • flawless commentary

  • great game thanks for uploading

  • Impressive. Thanks.

  • Thank you all for your kind comments - they are very encouraging!

I will post more as soon as I can, my 8 week old son allowing... I'll post videos in the letsplaychess format here on kingscrusher's channel and others, more individual ones on my own. Until then remember: "Chess, like love, like music, has the power to make men happy" (Tarrasch).

  • thanks for uploading!

  • thx for the game commenting keep it up lad!

  • good video, great to see more ppl doing this

    keep em comin !

  • great game and excellent commentating.

  • this is absolutely brilliant, you explain each move so beautifully. I liked your explanation of whites moves to strengthen the position, waiting for black to blunder. I have a tendency to rush attacks, i'll be bearing this in mind! more please :)

  • Awesome video. Instructive for people that need to work on their midgame. I'd like to see more midgame videos like this one.

  • good play,I had pleasant time while listening to you.

  • Wonderful game, a little excitement in your voice wouldn't hurt =D

    Overall, 4/5 stars. well done.

  • Dudely Moore would be a great guest, according to rypka

  • Thanks for the guest, kingscrusher! I hope he starts making videos I can subscribe to, as well. But don't even THINK about stopping making yours!! :)

  • awsome video and great commentry, thanks for posting it!

  • Thanks you for your video.

  • Excellent commentating.

Loved the way you explained your thought process for each move and how you explained how you developed a game plan that suits your position, both opening up the position but restricting counterplay.

    Very nicely done

  • I agree 100%.

  • Great - Love the guest commentator!

The only thing I missed greatly was "Overview and Summary" - but it was made up for by the quite thorough and easily followed plans -

Also - "Guess What White Would Do" is always great.

    Thanks a million --

  • cool ... I enjoyed the game

  • thoroughly enjoyable ,thank you for sharing

  • Nice video. I think retreating the dark bishop back to b2 instead of letting him swap was a key move. I usually find having both bishops at your disposal very powerful, especially against dutch defense

  • Nice clear explanations! Thanks for sharing!

  • I was thinking to move g4 at the moment you said when i was younger :)))

    Re2 was a very patient move @8:14

  • Nice job

  • good job!

  • Great guest commentating. Come back anytime!

  • Very well played FaM!

  • fantastic video. a nice introduction by

your friend. his victory seemed effortless.

  • Kudos! KC is a tough act to follow, and you did an admirable job. Good explanation- I look forward to more.

  • Nice game indeed, the monster dark square bishop of white was just too strong! He should really had took it with 11...Nxc3

    Thanks for the video!

  • great job
