The cops showed up in force because a female officer was first on the scene and they are simply more vulnerable to physical attacks (not trying to say women can't be cops). Overall I would say the cops acted proper.

Cobb County cops are worse to deal with.They call for back up and you will face 6+ of those assholes.That's what happen to me every single day when I was skateboarding up there.They do some shady shit up there.
NWGA Troopers are the worst, My friends have to ride a 1/8mile down a 15mph residential rode to get to my house.. and from that point down my backyard to the trails. A trooper decided he had the liberty to chunk up my yard with his crown vic to block of the trail and walk down there to say we were doing 50+mph (which the bikes that had to ride down the rode CAN'T DO) and that if we're caught riding on the rode, the ones under 16 won't get their license til they're 21.

Most cops I know ride and could care less. They only respond when people complain. Assholes only complain when the bikes can be heard or seen. Get a quiet pipe and stay out of site. Riding from your home to the trail helps too. Where I live, there are railroad tracks that connect a network of trails. The railroad cops (yep, didn't make it up) always try busting us, but a Crown Victoria can't cross the tracks. :)

Most cops I know ride and could care less. They only respond when people complain. Assholes only complain when the bikes can be heard or seen. Get a quiet pipe and stay out of site. Riding from your home to the trail helps too. Where I live, there are railroad tracks that connect a network of trails. The railroad cops (yep, didn't make it up) always try busting us, but a Crown Victoria can't cross the tracks. :)

When I first pulled in to unload my bike some landscapers pulled up and dumped there debris off the side of the parking lot. WTF!! The cops have a fucked up way of looking at shit. The cops said "Georgia Power property under the power lines is private".

Hah Gwinnett County..
