To all the people that say Grace speaks in a phony accent, it is NOT a phony accent. Her accent was a New England accent, a remnant of the English accent heard on our shores when we were an English colony. The New England accent was heard from colonial times, all thru the centuries, until 1945, when it started dying out. I've heard World War II had something to do with it. Remnants remain in our day, like the accent of the Boston upper classes.
At this day and age when class and manners is the last thing- we need more people like her and Audrey Hepburn... gosh they were such real beauty & elegance that actress now wouldn't come close...

Grace was an elegant lady, perhaps the most beautiful blonde in history, especially when she was young. Those derogatory comments about her are unwelcome and unnecessary. People have their own private affairs in life and those are their own personal business. She died soon after A. Haig's teams moved into nearby area, when she had the dubious car 'accident'. Her car fell - the pictures will just break your heart - off the cliff. Her daughter miraculously lived but Grace was injured and was taken to a primitive hospital where she later died.
She doesn't sound that English, it's more like a Boston Brahmin, or an old-stock upper class Philadelphia accent, while she wasn't born with it is not so pretentious.

Grace was an elegant lady, perhaps the most beautiful blonde in history, especially when she was young. Those derogatory comments about her are unwelcome and unnecessary. People have their own private affairs in life and those are their own personal business. She died soon after A. Haig's teams moved into nearby area, when she had the dubious car 'accident'. At first she was so well they were sending her home with a fractured arm, etc., then she was hospitalized...uh oh.

In my humble opinion she aged beautifully and looks more lovely than ever in these interviews. She was a beautiful lady who obviously loved older men and loved having sex with them. I really can't see why in this day and age anyone can see anything wrong with that. Good for her for enjoying sex. Hatred by some people is born of jealousy oure and simple. @crizilla138 Princess Grace of Monaco suffered a small stroke while driving through terrible roads (high up on cliff walls, many hairpin turns, and for some inane reason, no guard rails). Her car fell - the pictures will just break your heart - off the cliff. Her daughter miraculously lived but Grace was injured and was taken to a primitive hospital where she later died.

Regarding her morality, yes it's true that she's generally considered a slut. She bedded many co-stars, many of them were married. They're all in their biographies and ...everywhere. It may or may not true, but if she is really an angel like Audrey Hepburn, no one would write such things about her.

I just meant to say, it's ridiculous when Elizabeth Taylor and Marilyn Monroe were branded whores while Grace Kelly was titled the ultimate classy lady simply because of her image as this elegant white virginal blonde princess, while in fact she was more of a whore than them all. I'm surprised by her win because in my opinion she didn't deserve it. It's politics. But it's ok since the Academy has stated that they don't necessarily give out oscars for acting talent. Makeup or no makeup, she's plain as a personality. Besides the whore part, I still don't understand why people call her extraordinary. In what? Makes me laugh.

I have no blindfold on. I've never thought of her as this great actress. People like her because she was stunning, held herself with dignity, wonderful in Hitchcock movies, dressed marvellously and seemed to have a beautiful soul.

Grace grew up with a Philadelphian accent. When she went into acting, they gave a speech coach to change the way she spoke. Her family would make fun of her new "posh" way of speaking thereafter. It did change even more after years of living in Monaco.
