Whilst I can't say whether Hanoverians, Holsteiners, Selle Francais, Dutch Warmbloods or whatever are the best breed ever, I can officially say that my Zangersheide gets the most boggle eyes when I say his breed:

I have a morgan/Quarter horse she is only 15hh but she loves to jump anything :) she goes up to 4 feet when free jumping, but with me on her we only go about 2 1/2 -3 feet dont wanna push her too much, She will jump anything from logs to asending oxers ect but she WILL NOT jump a verticle why is this any tips?..

I totally agree with people saying breeds don't matter. I had a horse who was feral, (at 5) when we got him, had scars from previous owners, couldn't do too much due to issues with his pasterns, and was afraid of fly spray, spoons, and more. No one thought much of him but we had that bond. I recently lost him, and I love and miss him more than the world. I love you, Sebastian

I have recently taken up hunt seat. I am in no position right now to purchase any of these wornderful warmbloods, but who knows what the future may hold.
@hunterjumper32 you're best getting an Irish Sport horse, they're the best hunters. I ride hunters myself, and they're fast, amazing jumpers, perky and beautiful to look at. if you have facebook, type in Laura Turner, my profile picture is a grey mare, she's an irish sports horse. im in huntig gear in my picture. Hope that helps! oh and out of those two horses, the hanovarian and warmblood are around the same height but hanovarians are slightly bigger :)
There is nothing like a thoroughbred. They have more balls than any other nag on the planet, and are good at everything BUT they can definitely be more difficult to handle than warmbloods that tend to be very quiet horses.
@SwornSwordII I saw your question about the Hanoverian and Dutch Warmblooded. I had a Dutch warmblooded and they can get quite tall. Mine was 167 cm (don't know how high that is in hands) quite tall but there are much taller ones. They're very cool in the head also.
@SwornSwordII Well, I'm pretty sure they're about the same height (as we all know, there can and is a wide range of what height they end up. Most of the time, the size is just the average range.) Both would be good breeds, and actually you can use any breed for huntseat.
@SwornSwordII What you probably see the most are thoroughbreds, thoroughbred/warmblood crosses, and warmbloods. All I suggest is to actually pick a few breeds that you'd like to try, and see if there are any at your stable. And sometimes you find out that a warmblood is not for you. (they tend to have bigger movement to them then their thoroughbred counterparts.)
@SwornSwordII It definitely depends on the horse and its breeding. Both breeds can excel in dressage, eventing, and hunter/jumper. You would just have to find the horse trained and bred for your discipline. Also, tallness would depend on the horse as well. Both are relatively large breeds :)
@SwornSwordII Actually Hanovarians average at about 16.3-17hh Dutch WBs only average about 16.1 hh. Both are gresat breeds! Shown both and won many champions on both! Great video
@SwornSwordII It doesn't really matter which type of horse. It just depends on if a horse is athletic. I know some paint horse that easily clear 5'4 jumps...

She lost both stirrups, her horse refused twice,didnt like cantering,and she was pushing him the ENTIRE TIME! :)-Anywho-I have a 5yo tb mare, rosie, she's the QUIETEST HORSE ON THE FARM and shes ottb,she's raced(FAIL),tried to be a broodmare(fail),team roped(FAIL), barrel raced(FAIL), and now shes a Hunter-Jumper(SUCESS!)

i love hanoverinas! my cousin has one- he's awesome, a super jumper. they bought him for $4000, after years of training he's now worth $40,000! i rode him once- best ride of my life-so far.

There is nothing like a thoroughbred. They have more balls than any other nag on the planet, and are good at everything BUT they can definitely be more difficult to handle than warmbloods that tend to be very quiet horses.

@SwornSwordII I saw your question about the Hanoverian and Dutch Warmblooded. I had a Dutch warmblooded and they can get quite tall. Mine was 167 cm (don't know how high that is in hands) quite tall but there are much taller ones. They're very cool in the head also.

@SwornSwordII Well, I'm pretty sure they're about the same height (as we all know, there can and is a wide range of what height they end up. Most of the time, the size is just the average range.) Both would be good breeds, and actually you can use any breed for huntseat.

@SwornSwordII What you probably see the most are thoroughbreds, thoroughbred/warmblood crosses, and warmbloods. All I suggest is to actually pick a few breeds that you'd like to try, and see if there are any at your stable. And sometimes you find out that a warmblood is not for you. (they tend to have bigger movement to them then their thoroughbred counterparts.)

@SwornSwordII It definitely depends on the horse and its breeding. Both breeds can excel in dressage, eventing, and hunter/jumper. You would just have to find the horse trained and bred for your discipline. Also, tallness would depend on the horse as well. Both are relatively large breeds :)

@SwornSwordII Actually Hanovarians average at about 16.3-17hh Dutch WBs only average about 16.1 hh. Both are gresat breeds! Shown both and won many champions on both! Great video

@SwornSwordII It doesn't really matter which type of horse. It just depends on if a horse is athletic. I know some paint horse that easily clear 5'4 jumps...

dutch warm blooddds are much more graceful with the right training of corse

@lagolop haha my friend has a TB who was just off the track when she got him, and hes perfect! he only spooks at real scary things, though when he does he takes off with her and jumps everything in his way... i love TBs and Hanovarians, so i want this cross of them both i found

@PsychoPoniesPa my mom has a half tb half hano and her son, a 3/4 tb 1/4 hano! He dumped her this afternoon, the nerve! She placed 9th at Intercolleigate(?) College Nationals! She lost both stirrups, her horse refused twice,didnt like cantering,and she was pushing him the ENTIRE TIME! :)-Anywho-I have a 5yo tb mare, rosie, she's the QUIETEST HORSE ON THE FARM and shes ottb,she's raced(FAIL),tried to be a broodmare(fail),team roped(FAIL), barrel raced(FAIL), and now shes a Hunter-Jumper(SUCESS!)

i love hanoverinas! my cousin has one- he's awesome, a super jumper. they bought him for $4000, after years of training he's now worth $40,000! i rode him once- best ride of my life-so far.

Love it. Have 2 warmbloods. A hanoverian and an oldenberg. They are the best damn thing that your eyes have ever seen. Love the song fits the breed. German horses rule!!!
