  • Hahahahaa...ms. vagus. Love it. So true. Patient comes in, presents with nonspecific pain, allergic to every OTC non-narcotic out there (naturally), it's the "worst pain they've ever felt", they have to have meds NOW (in the middle of the night), and then they get pissed and say they hate you when you refuse to write them a scrip for an absurd number of pills. Perfect.

  • So painfully true. And painfully funny: "A very lucky nurse will be with you shortly."

  • So unbelievably true. Even in a hospital in a swanky high-income suburb of the SF Bay Area, we saw those "patients". I firmly believe in a "No-Fault Discretion" law that would, once invoked, allow hospital staff to 'evict' these sorts of people and grant immunity from all non-criminal legal complaints. THAT would clean up the EDs in a hurry!

  • I can't help but think she wants dick from the doctor 0_o ???

  • Lol

  • Some patients fake his/her symptoms for drugs (opiates).

  • hahaha oh man am dying.... LOL

  • "How long have you been having this pain?"

    "Two years."

    Lawl.

  • If I were not laughing I would be crying from how true this video is. I work full-time in the ER and people in the general public cannot conceive how frustrating a majority of the patients in the ER are and how very NOT sick 99% of them are

  • Can we please stop focusing on me and your pets? LOL

  • This is so funny and soooo true. I had a guy come to triage one day with a complaint of abdominal pain for 10 years. So I asked him why he came in today and he told me he finally got a ride.

  • i get the "it starts with 'D'" thing a lot. and when they're on the floor, they never say "10 out of 10" for pain. that would make them sound like a drug addict, as if everything else they said didn't.

  • LOL! classic! meanwhile dude in the waiting room has motorcycle spokes rusting away in his leg. LOL! $80/bus ride here to ER.

  • Now I have a pain in my brain! Thank you! Great conversation! How irritatingly reminiscent!

  • Yes, the vexations of the vajay-jay! LOL

  • fantastic :D

  • I am reminded of why I left Emergency Medicine and now do primary care.

  • So this is every er i' ve worked in around the N E

  • oh my lord! this is so so true to life.......i cant believe it.....its just like being at work
