  • Marines, Fox co, 2/24.

He's running a camera because he's a corpsman. Issue weapon was usually a pistol. S/F....Ken

  • nice description

  • @pxd, US Marines.

  • Does anyone know what Country was in this firefight? I cant tell between U.S Marines or Canadian Infantryman, from the Camoflauge I saw on a Soldiers helmet. I think it was Canadains. But Im not sure.

  • @pxdfover its US cuz Canadians are not in Iraq + I dont think Candians use Humvees

  • @TurkFutbol10 2800 can's in iraq since 2003

  • @420knuckles dude i live i canada and i have not heard 1 fallen soldier that served in Iraq coalition..i think u confusing them with british

  • Fuck that Elephant grass. Shit was like Vietnam in Yusufiyah. Any Duece guys Remember when we blew up that whole fucking island? That shit was AWESOME!

  • Pickard here, Cco 2/502. Too be 100% honest I kind of miss Yusufiyah. Who here was in the EPIC all day long fire fight when we first went in to Yusufiyah to recon a place to call home there? That shit was AWESOME! Some one needs to find Bickford & get him to post his little video clips. Ambush at the Crow's Foot was hilarious. Strike Iron claw had a dude get hit in the hand but he was ok. We almost ran outta .50 Cal out there. To this day I wish they'd had let us stay & sling loaded us more ammo

  • bad ass

  • r the brits still usin landrovers?

  • Yup y u ask?

  • just wondered

  • Kriegsberichter!

    n1

     :)

  • how can you fire you rifle with one hand??

  • they aren't that heavy man nor do they have much recoil. But I can say it's hard to fire it accurately

  • notice at 1:45 he see's an insurgent dash from da bushes, u can see him falling in a white shet.... REAL RAW FOOTAGE GREAT VIDEO!!!!!

  • hey Brown 101st you grunts did good in yusuf & bombadea I am proud of you and the duce.....

  • wasn't the duece who cleaned it up it was the Rakkasans :). but thanks for the compliments

  • My old friend brown was 101st and was in yusufiyah.I was in too 2nd 75th Ranger I was only going on what he told me when we got back.

  • oh that deuce. Ok my bad I thought you meant the 502nd. They were there but we finished it off there. doesn't even look like the video anymore with all the peace.

  • I was talking about the 502nd.I know they were there and also know that they did not clean that shit hole up.Just showing support.Yes the hole clean up thing is strange I have mixed feelings on that.I was sent to Iraq 3 times every time was a bit better but not by much.

  • yes yes I understand now. Didn't mean to make it sound like they didn't do shit because I'm aware they've done plenty while there. We're all Old Abe's(the Screaming Eagle's name) soldier anyways :).

  • Haha, yeah fucking right man. Team effort, the 502nd, 10th MTN and 3rd Brigade all had a hand in cleaning it up. Had the Rak been the first ones in that AO like the 502nd was, I'm sure it would've been the same story.

  • Vietnamesqe.

  • your a fuckin retard shut the fuck up

  • I was there and I tell you it's not as easy to get to the bastards in the Yus. it was hella overgrown and wired like a circuit city

  • The elephant grass was a bitch.

  • There were large canals on both sides preventing foot/vehicle traffic in all but the most bottle-necked situations (which is bad to cross in a gun fight) and they were a support element to help secure a checkpoint that was low on ammo while another element maneuvered around. Not everyone is required to charge towards a fight, nor is it prudent.

  • Might be head gear camera. Its common nowadays to have a camera on the headgear

  • No, look at his shadow; notice he turns his head, but camera doesn't move.
