I've never been scared by a single FPS or Third Person game ever. Silent Hill, FEAR, Doom 3, all boring as hell. Resident Evil 4 was a great game, but not scary. RE 1-3 on the other hand creeped me out a great deal, and Clock Tower scared me shitless.

I only touched the game twice, both times I was scared of the dark for two weeks afterwards.

I once had a dream where the dude was after me. Partway through the dream I realized it was a dream and summoned a lightsaber to fight him off with, and NOT EVEN THAT stopped him from stabbing his shears through me prior to me waking up.

Seen it, wasn't scary. I don't know what it is, but any games with a first or third person camera just cannot seem to scare me. I just laugh at them for trying and go about my business unscathed.

Clock tower was at the time frightening because you were literally helpless, wheras in dead space and silent hill you have guns and the free camera movement makes it very easy to aim at what you want to shoot. Resident Evil 1-3 were scary because it was very hard to aim and you often had to walk around corners before you could even see what you were walking into.

At least that's what I think was why they scared me, anyway.

Ooh, if you liked Clock Tower..uh, if you were scared by it, I seriously recommend Haunting Ground. One of my favorite horror games of all time. :P

Yeah, with the white dog. There are two with dogs; Rule of Rose and then Haunting Ground.

It's rather fun. It's scary at first but once you get better at evading it's not as creepy..but I think it's worth at least one go, it's one of the more underrated horror games I've seen.
