  • Just drop by after watching the recent PM's welcoming speech. This one is my refuge for the uncertain future. At least, we still have a great guy like Abhisit.

  • after seeing this & comparing it to other Thai PMs speaking English, I think EVERY PM should graduate from the UK.

  • Always proud of you as a Thai Premier, ObaMark.

  • @jethromayham Are you a fool? Do you think the election in Thailand is the best way to solve this problem? Do you believe that it will be a clean election? Don't be a fool...

  • @YuiMoonLight Are you saying that Thai government should come from other method rather than an election? We can all agree to disagree whether which parties should become the next government, but without a referee on the field, then there will be no rules in this game. What's going on right now in Thailand, is the result of that. Please give us an alternatives or else your comment will be as useless as other spams.

  • @kingkongdingdong Thai government should come from election but not now. Do you think dissolve the house is the right way? Now, you need to ameliorate the problems between 2 groups of people because if you dissolve the house and then elect the new government do you think the other won't protest?? Don't you know why the last election became this situation? Because of money, without a doubt. Many province in a remote areas in Thailand, people know about what i'm saying.

  • Sorry for the wrong spelling and calling you a dumb one. I was in the mood of being a bad smart mouth (Haven't you ever made a mistake?) The election will happen for sure but don't you think it should happen when everything is back to normal. Now everyone is angry and confused.

  • The dissolution of parliament shouldn't come from anger. By the way, this government doesn't really have a real chance to lead the country because of the protesters. Got to tell you I don't have any colour but I don't think the red shirts are reasonable enough except Red Siam. Nothing is built to last. One day Abhisit has to step down and the election will happen. Hope that there will be some good politicians lead the country to peace.

  • ahh wat a rightful choice from the constitution to elect such a superb Thai PM!!

  • Thailand have no WAR more than 200 years, Thailand have Excellent opportunity to be the # 1 to lead in Asia & the world in the Economy, political and military, because of the corruption and their injustice in the king culture and Thai GOV. China, Vietnam, Lao, Cambodia, Burma, Korea countries busy with the WAR no time to develop or made in & export. Thailand surrounding with more than 2 billion+ people & 6 countries! If ONLY Thai allow person who know how to run the country

  • land of smile and land of opportunity???? Then let the people of Thailand have the opportunity to freely elect their PM. You're confusing me, dude......

Anyway.....the people who lead the country to hell are the Yellow scums. The country is unstable right now is because of an idiot like Apisit running the country.

  • I am sure it is the King's plan not to involve the Monarch. He obviously wants Thailand to function as a true democracy. Sure there will be rough patches, but in the end (and sadly only in an ideal world) there will be a more reliable government for the people.

  • Oh that's interesting, so who should have won?

  • Well it seem he going to the direction of European way

  • Im not from Thailand and I come from a country where almost 80% of the population doesn't knows how to pronounce "Abhisit Vejjajiva".

Judging from the speech, I see a young energetic leader who is on the verge of "rebuilding" Thailand into a better country.

PS. I was at the airport and I was very disappointed about the incident. I look forward to see some interesting changes.

  • Needless to say how much effort & contribution you are doing..

Wish God to protect you & your family from any danger...

Be Brave , Be Consistent , Be Honest to our King & our Nation...

Best Luck ka dearest PM Abhisit

  • Very Happy Birthday To You " Mark "

You Sir are the best prime minister for thai people. I always believe in you. I've been a big fan of you and Thai Democrat Party since I was in high school, and will always be your good fellow no matter what the Red Shirts will say. We'll never let them destroy you. So please continue doin' the good things for thais as ever before. Keep goin', I know you can do it.

    God bless you, Mark.

  • Please give Abhisit Vejjajiva a chance. If the King of Thailand likes him ... that is good enough for me! Long Live the King of Thailand, may he live 100+ years !!!!!!

  • My best PM^^

  • The best PM Thailand ever had.

  • He's a good guy. we just need to give him and his government some time to prove their ability.

  • The Democrats with Aphisit as the head would be a perfect government for thailand if there weren't some corrupted asses from thaksin party to join them. Aphisit is smart and is a good Engilsh speaker who also has the potential to run teh country with honesty. Unlike someone who can't talk for shit running away from 2 years sentence to jail!

  • Let me remind you that "speaking well" doesn't equal to "smart"

I would accept him if he was elected by the people, but not from the military government.

I, however, think that people should give him the chance to prove himself that he is the right person for the job (even though, he did not come from election).

  • Oh he sure is very intelligent. But he lacks the ability to fully act like the way he said he would partly because Neevin's corrupted party joined Aphisit's, and because he's afraid of actions that might make him look like he's taking sides.

Still, we should give him a chance.

  • lack of ability or not, he should be given the chance to proof himself

  • that's exactly what I'm trying to tell the guy named yesyea. From the past few days I finally see his true courage.

  • he had done a great job in handling the most recent protest. the protesters turned violent but not the government, in the end the whole crisis was ended rather amicably.

  • Thailand's parliament chose Abhisit as prime minister not the military. Democrat party comes from the election even though not won the majority votes (but not being charged of electoral fraud. )

Before Puea-Thai party also considered Pracha Promnok to replace Somchai as PM.

Pracha is not from Puea - Thai party as well.

Democracy is an excuse that Puea -Thai uses to get more support from (stupid) people. They come to protest without knowing the right meaning of democracy.

  • Although not coming directly from ppl's election but he came rightfully from the constitution.

    Cheers PM Abhisit!!!

  • so good speaker ... go go thailand ... all the best to AV, the Thais and Asean

  • To you Mr.Hansdkk.. I donn't know who you are,but if you dont know anything about my country just shut da fuck up!and stop ask our new PM.Kangster..THE ONE WHO IS YOU SHOULD CALL'S TAKSIN HE'S CORUPTION GUY!!FUCK YOU!!

  • He speaks RP !!!

    amazing !!

  • This maybe the best thing for Thailand. He 's got all the qualifications to represent Thailand internationally, but I don't know if he can survive small groups of crazy Thai. The Thai need to realize that they 'll never find a perfect person to run the country.Instead of keep changing PM every month why not give this one a try,he might turn out to be a decent human being .BTW I am not taking sides since I know nothing about politics.I just want to see my people get along.KEEP SMILING!

  • he's so handsome

  • As you said, Thailand is the land of "Smile" so

Please lead the country in the proper way in order to bring the big "Smile" for all Thai people from the button of our hearts.

I have faith in you the New PM.

  • Possibly the best English speaking Prime Minister our country has seen in years.

  • I believe in you too!
