  • GOOOO EYGYPT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • great vid. featured on my blog.

  • @AnarchoCapitalistTV Love the style and content of your site. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help you out!

  • @repfreedomforce much appreciated. it's work in progress got 4 articles on the go at the moment but they are slow burners. will be doing interviews in a few months including interviewing existing market anarchist proponents. will definitely be in touch.

  • Evolution not revolution

  • @repfreedomforce, djdnauk, rogerpruyne, yinzjagoffs

Thanks for the replies everyone! =)

  • 2 things come to mind.

    1. The word Revolution comes from the word Revolt, not in any way associated with revolve. But if you just don't like the idea of them sounding similar that is okay.

    2. I don't really want random people deciding that they have the authority to pat me down.

I don't mind having a rights. I don't think I am much into my daughters being stopped at night by random people with guns and bats.

  • @clearsky24 Thanks for the feedback. Just checked WikiPedia on "Revolution" and yes it implies revolt as you say, but the word is specifically from the Latin "revolutio" which meant "a turn around", or as Monkeywrench said, a "flipping over of the burger" or as I said "the revolving door". Politically, revolution has meant "regime change" which is what seems to be the case in Egypt. What we are saying is people should forget regime change, and dissolve all regimes and live free, as they are now.

  • @clearsky24 (2) The reason they stopped the white reporters is because they were unfamiliar. Patting them down is not in itself a violation of rights. I'm sure in a free society, familiar people get waived through, people like your daughters if you lived in that neighborhood. These people are doing a much better job than government police, because they are actually protecting and serving. Also, they would all have to conspire to rape since they are watching each other as well. Freedom works bro.

  • @repfreedomforce, I am one of those people who really really really believes in less government. So much less it's ridiculous. And freedom is awesome.

But I don't really want to stand outside my house with a bat. I don't really want to live in a country where everyone needs to stand outside of their house with bats.

I guess I am a minarchist at heart. Though I think just about everything should be privatized, but I do believe in rights, and having a way to ensure they are protected.

  • @clearsky24 Keep in mind, we are witnessing TRANSITION. The people's current behavior is of necessity, but the spirit is correct, that is, the spirit of self-governing. But that does not imply that in Liberty, this is the way it ALWAYS will be. If the state withdraws entirely, free people will begin to work out security on a local level. Communities can hire from within for security, or bring in an outside agency. The difference is, it will be totally voluntary and up to them! No force involved.

  • @repfreedomforce Also, I am one of those saps who believe that our founders had the right idea, they just didn't put in enough restrictions on government (in plain english) ; (

I do believe that because of vacuums that are often filled when there is no government by bad people, the freest we may ever hope to be, may be with a very limited government.

But I think with me as a Libertarian and you as Anarcho Capitalists.... we have a long road we could travel together, before we changed cars.

  • @wort148 I'd like to jump in, I think the people guarding the museum, presumably doing this voluntarily, are doing this because they value the preservation of the antiquities that are housed there, that is their payment, if they can't feed their family, then eventually they will need to find others who value this preservation and are willing to pay for it, to a level which sustains their needs, this is voluntary interaction, rather than theft-taxation to fund "your" security needs

  • This is a great video showing the Voluntary actions of Spontaneous Order of the people in Egypt, taking charge of their own lives and actions w/o a violent state to keep the people down.

There will be change in Egypt and it will be a model & trend as well as an inspiration to people all around the world.

Great work w/ this video, love the commentary to go along with it.

Keep up the great work, keep posting these great, informative and well made videos!

  • Could there be a possibility that the father in the mind is finally being done away with? When the world wakes, the elite quake. Why do you think they keep putting out so many Zombie films? As Winston Zeddemore once asked "Did you ever stop to think that maybe the reason we have been so busy, is because the Dead have been Rising from the Grave?" It time to wake the world !!:!!

  • evolution not revolution

and there are MANY examples of anarchy running smoothly...and no i don't mean anarchy as in the new meaning =riot it actually means self governed or without

  • not revolution but evolution

  • Your comment about Egypt having the first government and that how wonderfull it would be if it was the first state to realise that it doesnt need a government anymore was exactly what I thought!

  • Where in the idea of capitalist market relations is the idea of "volunteering"? No the actual capitalists, being the people with substantial amounts of capital, are likely bemoaning the protests for interrupting commerce.

  • @wort148 youre talking about state capitalism, which is a mix of socialism & corporatism (fascism) not free markets. corporations & central banks for example rely on the power of the state to implement their crooked schemes. anarcho capitalism is pretty much opposite to the system we have now

  • @djdnauk1977

No. I'm talking about state or non-state capitalism. Capitalist market economics would view "gifting one's labor" (volunteering) as irrational. Furthermore, to potentially be risking *your* life for the betterment of all is antagonistic to capitalist ethos entirely. I'm not saying that anarcho-capitalism couldn't produce a relatively just society but the point I'm making is that capitalism has nothing to do with that is going on in this video.

  • @wort148 Not everything in a Capitalist system has to do with the exchange of money. Money just represents the exchange of value. If your volunteering your time I still hope your seeking some sort of value in return. Other wise your not gonna be happy and keep doing it.

  • @wort148 Understanding Anarcho capitalism is as simple as understanding what you are doing when you spend one moment of your time dialoguing with me online. It's a voluntary exchange, and the currency is human attention. The profit, or the benefit of the interaction could be the learning experience, or the good feeling of encouraging someone else, or whatever relative value you assigned for the time spent. It desires competing currencies and freedom from central planning and state intervention.

  • @wort148 well id argue that anarcho-capitalism doesnt view gifting labour as irrational at all, its about supply & demand... the people in egypt need tea/food so people have self organized to supply it (& cover their costs by charging money) anarcho-capitalism is 100% compatible with generosity... its not about making as much profit as possible its about supplying the good people need, which this is a great example of!

  • @wort148 All trade that is voluntary, consenting, without tax or coercion of any kind is what I mean by anarcho capitalism, a true free market like we see in the streets here. And it seems to be what naturally springs up in situations like this where the government withdraws.

  • Good video Guy's! I love freedom and Liberty! I love stefbot!

  • great job guys!!! ;D

  • People always ask for "proof" that a society can exist without a government. This, among many others, is good enough proof if you ask me.

  • AMAZING!!! :-D

  • people are peaceful, governments are violence

  • @mouser98k Indeed!

  • great post, shared through Freedomain Radio :)

  • lol, awesome video!

  • Great video, thanks; but the word "dissolution" still isn't right. spontaneous order is very good, but dissolution only pertains the the state, not to the positive replacement of free, peaceful people cooperating per individual choice and responsibility.

  • Awesome video gents!

  • do you have a link to an online source of the mainstream footage you have shown here? I would like to incorporate it in my next video but one with better quality. thanks

  • @TheGodofAtheists Not that I'm aware of. This is the best we could get under short notice. Let us know if you find it. (NBC Nightly news from Tuesday, Feb 1st)

  • "we dont need a revolution, we just need a dissilusion" great line

  • Evolution of ideas is whats needed

  • what an amazing and inspiring look into a modern day example of a truly free society. I hope it will last long enough to be an example to us all.

  • One of the best videos I've seen in awhile. Creative, great commentary, inspiring, and much more!

    Thanks!
