Every time I think about getting this game, I watch one of these videos and feel like an uber nerd just listening to the story line. I just can't get myself to add a bunch of nonsense words to my daily vocabulary (even if it is for the purposes of gaming) to describe my "intergalactic travels and exploits". I'm sure it's fun for the folks that play it. I envy the sort of shameless submission to complete nerd-dum this game requires. I wish I could get myself to play.

@staticenz I'm about as far from the nerdy game jargon as you could possibly get, and I thought the game really kicked ass. The tutorial is mind numbing and boring (and very long - took me about 3 days to "learn" the basics). But once you clear that little hurdle, it's a pretty cool surreal game. It's really time consuming though, but then again alot of games are... Try it! ^^

I have personally played the game, and it's by far the greatest mmo out there for those who like something they can actually use their brain in. Instead of your regular fps run and gun, or rpg button mashing, eve allows you to do almost anything you can think of. You can, (and i strongly advise) join a corporation that does the things you want to do. You can work with other players towards some kind of goal, no matter what it is. EVE is the best for people who enjoy diverse, realistic gameplay

15 dollars a month is a small fee for a game that is constantly releasing content and provides countless hours of entertainment. you pay 60 dollars for most console games and you play them maybe a month or even less, yet that is 4 months of entertainment in an MMO.

The price for what you get really is very low.

yes a mmo that ive been playing for about 7 months now. very good game if u have the patience to play it. it trains in real time so even if you log of your still training, but some skills cant take 30 days to max out at lvl 5.
