Shirley Temple was an amazing childhood actress. ive read accounts of some othe the things she went through in real life. A very sharp contrast from what was seen, It sounds as if her mother was very protective of her. However, I have always loved her work. And I believe she is still living and was once an Ambassador.

Thanks Daybniac! The book is available on Amazin, I'll definitely buy it! I've seen a small interview clip with Shirley here on YT and in 2 minutes she told some pretty great stories, so I'm sure the book must be delightful.

She met SO many people as a child - and she took it all in - it had a great influence on her. So interesting to read about.

You should read it - she does a great job with it - very interesting - and she's pretty blunt about many facets of her life. I really enjoyed it. It's called - Child Star. Very appropriate !
