The U.S. Government is still spending from the October 2008 $700 Billion Bailout, at the same time with the February 2009 $787 Billion stimulus package. I think that is a sign not to propose anymore spending.

God no, the first stimulus package was already too much waste. Let the market correct by itself and stop slapping bandaids on the economy.
What the government needs to do now is stop putting their fingers all over us and reduce their presence in the marketplace.
By the way, I predict that the unemployment rate will go over 10%, possibly to the low teens.
