    I think they are chinese

  • Amazing, but how can they do this without hearing the music? How do they feel the tempo? I wich to watch the live show.

(PS: It´s not important if they are chinese or japanese, because one day they will all become koreans ^^)

  • These Chinese are deaf which makes it more amazing.

  • Man, if i had that many hands!

  • they are chinese. i am japanese. they are cant hear by their ears.i watched hers on TV. it was ameizing.

  • They are deaf Chinese girls. They can do this by giving little breath to the one in front of them when they have to match their movement. I was so moved by this artistic dance. I always admire old Chinese culture....., and I wish that their people have equal chances and rights to become as great as these beautiful girls.........

  • *jazz hands.

  • To me Chinese Japanese Korean THEY R gorgeous people. Love Japanese culture .

  • just amazing performanced i ever seen

  • This performance is Chinese.

    no japan.

    very beautiful.sugoi!

  • Yes. It's Chinese. And if I dare say, they are deaf & dumb people from China. They are trained to hold their hands at their place for 10 minutes in every practice so they are as accurate as you see them now. I saw it in a chinese documentary. Correct me if I am wrong, though.

  • @JuTart

No, you are right. They're Chinese. One part is, I don't think they're dumb.

Just because they're deaf does not mean they're dumb, at all.

  • NICE :)

  • Some foreigners don't understand which is a japanese, chinese and korean.3 of cultuers are totaly diffrent.

This was broadcasted on TV in Japan, but they are Chinese.

  • =.= Huuuuuuuuh Why the hate?

  • just beautiful I loved it.

  • the performers are all deaf

  • This dance (called the Thousand Hand Bodhisattva) was created by Zhang Jigang and preformed by the China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe. It has a "Thai" feeling to it because most traditional dances in Thailand uses similar dance steps (precise finger and hand movement) and the outfits are very much like the ones used in traditionally Buddhist countries.

This performance, however, did take place in Japan.

Ultimately, it's a beautiful piece that is simply stunning to watch.

  • I saw something very like this a year or so ago - the performers were a Chinese troupe or some kind, and I believe they were a dance group comprised of deaf women (people? there are guys in this one).

This is certainly a Japanese TV show, possibly filmed due to the interest expressed in the vid I originally saw.

  • They arent Japanese.

    They are Chainese

  • @Kuchinashi02

Okay people, so they're Chinese! Simple mistake by the uploader, its still a very beautiful show. Its really pathetic how so many posters here are so adamant about claiming this dance for China. Hey, maybe you guys can speak out against China's rampant piracy and black marketing of other nation's art, technology and culture for decades now! Such hypocrites!

  • I could care less if they were Chinese, Japanese, Thai or whatever! Probably one of the most beautiful things I've seen on Youtube.

  • wow, that's amazing!

  • this is Chinese

  • its thai

  • this China Performance

  • I think it's tradition Thai dance

  • yeah ok, you're trying to say they are actually chinese people with a fake "japanese heritage" stop using chinese, i can't read that well, and it's hard for me to respond to you if i only know parts of what you are trying to say. i'll even tell you all the words i didn't know : 亞 洲 , 實話實說 (like a phrase but i don't know what it means, saht wah saht shuot?) 懂. point being, speak english. oh yeah, does the japanese have the same culture as us chinese? no. so that means they are different.

  • "Domo arigato" "Subarashii" ...that´s japanese.

  • Chinese perform in Japan....

Japanese invited them go to Japan to perform
