Amazingly beautiful, after all those years. Thought of Sissel because of the Utoya memorial service, where a little girl was singing. After the wintergames in 1994 I bought Sissel's CD with the Olympic Hymne. Now, I m sure I will listen to it again for sure.

I love this performance - I remember being quite stunned by it while watching the 1994 Lillehammer Olympic Ceremonies - I kept listening to it over and over. Measha Brueggergosman sang the Hymn at the current Olympics, Vancouver 2010 - she once performed in a recital in which I performed some Rachmaninoff years ago during our teenage student days and she's done very well for herself.
