  • @MrMemories I don't know what planet you are from but men having been dancing together throughout the ages. I don't really care if you think it's strange. GET USED TO IT!!!

  • OMG!!!!

  • Oh shit, that's so strange...

  • when it comes to dance, nothing should be strange, keep an open mind.

  • @Leeeiger No...it's strange because "normally" a man dances with a woman and a woman dances with a man. A man dancing with another man and acting like a woman is "strange"...like it or not.

  • I've never seen a jive like this!! Wow that's... I can't find the words...

  • @lilo2crazy I can...how about disgusting, degrading, repulsive, sickening, nauseating, disenchanting, rediculous, alarming, bothersome, revolting, creepy, unpleasant, destestable, distasteful, nasty, gruesome, faggish, weird, uncommon, shameless, offensive, alarming, atrocious, godawful, hideous, shameful, distressing, detestable, nightmarish, foul, abnormal, outlandish, lothesome, grotesque, queer, unnatural, uncouth, yucky, odious, undesirable....I think you get the picture.

  • I've never seen anything like it! ^^ That's so awesome... I wish I could have seen in person. =3

  • yes it was, The next event will be the Outgames at Copenhagen in 2009, and then in Cologne for the Gay Games in 2010.

  • It's the gay games,stupid.

  • Of course I think being gay is okay...I am gay myself. And there will always be people who are not okay with it, just like there are still KKK members and skinheads in the world. But that's not a reason not to be proud of oneself. A time will come when bashing gays is as backwards as not allowing miscegenation.

  • I think you are in the minority about the acceptance of gays. Yes, there are bigotted people in the world but gays are willing to stand up for our rights. So get used to it.

  • I don't think you are conservative, you are old fashioned. Many conservatives are pro gay rights...and just because you think alot of people "shun or put up with gays" doesn't make them right. Remember Galileo?

  • @MrMemories I wonder if your views have changed since you made this comment...

  • @AkihiroHattori52455 Akihiro.....to answer your question....NO! All my views I've posted on here are still the same as when I posted them on here originally. Why would my views change? I have my beliefs and my morals, and homosexuality is still as disturbing and immoral as it was three years ago. If you don't like my opinions, you don't have to accept them...just like I don't accept your way of life. Have I answered your question?

  • @MrMemories Well I thought I'd ask since your comment was from 3 years ago. Obviously homosexuality hasn't changed, but it doesn't have to. It's the people that have to change. I'm not gonna pretend I know why you think it's "disturbing and immoral", but I will say that I think what's more disturbing and immoral is hating something just because you don't understand it. It's ignorant and unnatural in my opinion. That being said, I respect your opinion and won't try to change it.

  • @AkihiroHattori52455 Sorry, but hommosexuality is unnatural. If it wasn't then only men would have been created or only women for that matter. Is calling straight people ignorant or bigoted the only thing you gays know how to call someone who doesn't agree with that lifestyle? And where did hate come into the picture? Disapproving something does not always mean to hate. My niece is a lesbian, and even though I love her very much, I still do not support her lifestyle, and she knows it.

  • @MrMemories Do you how many times you bigots call homosexuality "immoral" and "unnatural"? You're talking to ME about redundance? No, it's not the only thing we have to say, but you bigots pretty much forget all the other evidence we give to show that it isn't unnatural, like the FACT that homosexuality is prevalent in many different species of animals and in fact animals are shunned if they don't participate. Anyway, I'm sure it hurts your neice that you think she's doing something wrong...

  • @AkihiroHattori52455 Whatever....by the way, I voted YES on 8 and I'd do it all over again. Good luck in your quest.

  • @MrMemories See, this is what pisses me off. I've backed you into a corner, and since you can't argue your point further and make sense, you just decide to drop it. This is why people who disapprove of homosexuality baffle me: because, unless you're devoutly religious, there's no legitimate justification. Saying the world would end if everyone was homosexual is an absurd reason to disapprove since it's erroneous for lack of a batter word. I mean really? How can you possibly be so obtuse?

  • @AkihiroHattori52455 I am devoutly religious and I don't believe in homosexuality. End of discussion, on my part. ;)

  • @MrMemories Well that changes everything. Your credibility is automatically nullified because of your obvious bias.

  • @MrMemories ...unless you aren't close, in which case she might not care.

  • Ok I am all for gay rights and shit, but this is disrespectful to the tradition of the dance. ok i get it your gay and you have every right to be. this isnt a gay str8 issue its a tradition issue, and respect for the dance

  • I respectfully disagree. Dance is an artform that is constantly evolving. Otherwise, it's not art anymore...it might as well just be an aerobics exercise. This is a gay interpretation and should be respected.

  • Q ascO ! se ve mucho mejor con una mujer ... superenlO !!!

  • oh wow, i know what you mean. i'm a dancer as well, you could say with quite some experience, and it seemed like one partner always tried to be the 'female' in the couple.

it would've been cool to see both taking a more 'masculine' stance. sounds so bad when you say it like that, but it's amazing to watch when men have that sharp attitude when dancing latin; woulda made a world of a difference

  • Yes, I know you are gay and a dance teacher. I personally didn't think there was a lack of masculinity but you would know more about this than I. Who knows, if you or someone else had competed and been more masculine, perhaps the judges would've scored you higher for that. I think you have an interesting comment and my only response is maybe the norms of the dance don't hold because this is a gay competition. I have another dance clip posted if you are interested.

  • a bit affected, right? I love this (i am ballroom dances teacher, and gay) but, please, be a bit more macho, man.

  • Hey, it's the Gay Games where the dancers aren't bound by traditions.

  • that's what I meant, we are not bound by traditions, so sort a new gay to dance, no man-woman rules, so both can do same parts some times on dance. Dancing does not mean lose your masculinity. They are two men dancing, and I wanted to see this. Just that (remember I am gay and ballroom dances teacher).

  • nuh uh.
